I wish they added in new eating and drinking animations, an inebriation effect, and a sleeping animation. Would draw you into the role-play so much more, along with the need to sleep/eat/drink.

I probably shouldn't tell you this, but google 'sexlivion' or something like that
Just don't take features from fallout 3 and dim them down into the TES. What's wrong with you people? Bethesda needs to make new features!
One thing that really ticked me off about Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3. The lack of keys. I mean come on, these people have chests and drawers and things locked in their rooms, and they have no keys for them! What'd they do, go to their neighbors house and lug the chest there?
The weaponry that morrowind had.
A game engine that doesn't suck.
Gotta have Fallout 3 easter eggs. Maybe a secret underground bunker with lots of technological stuff. The twist is, that Fallout 3 is a prequel to Elder Scrolls V, and then GAME OVER.
WTF :aaaaa::aaaaa:
WTF :aaaaa::aaaaa:
ESV =/= Post Apocalyptia
Gloves.
No I don't mean armored gauntlets, I mean cloth gloves, as in "regular clothing" gloves.
Morrowind had them but as far as I know they are absent from Oblivion.
If you're going to have a downside for wearing armor (decrease in magic effectiveness) then at least provide enchantable non-armor gloves.
The only thing I know of in Oblivion that filled that gap were the wrist irons. Sure my Mage looks a bit more badass wearing wrist irons but that's not the point.
WTF :aaaaa::aaaaa:
Or the other way around :lol:
1. NO LOAD SCREENS!!! (Biggest hope for V)
2. "Hardcore/Realistic" Mode which adds need to sleep, eat, and drink (I could give a shit about using the bathroom)
3. Armor racks (Like the one at the end of The Knights of the Nine quest line)
I just want them to take their time on it above all else. The great thing Bethesda has at their disposal is that they are entirely self-published because they have made assloads of cash off their exsisting titles. I hope they spend a good long time making ESV THE defininitive ES game. Something that takes all the good points in Morrowind, all the good points in Oblivion, and all the good points in Fallout 3, mixes them all together, and then adds it's own freshness to it. Hell, they spent 6+ years on Morrowind and it's a classic game. Only problem is that the gameplay (and the engine) certainly shows it's age.
I wouldn't mind if we didn't hear light of a new ES game until after 2010. That tells me that they are spending some serious time to make Elderscrolls better than ever before and something that is designed a little bit more deeply (not talking gameplay wise necessarily but environment/story/quest design).

This and preferably a different engine.
a release date within this year.
not gonna happen though. So instead, I would like a pony.
For the love of god, CAPES!
More and better writing like in the Shivering Isles. I fucking loved the prince of madness, crazy Sean Connery wannabe bastard. [holy shit i just realized he's the prequel to Moriarity...]
An engine able to handle large amounts of AI [for suitably epic battles], and maybe a bit easier on computers that weren't necessarily made this year. I still can't have perfectly smooth F3 on my computer on low settings, though it might have something to do with the mods and the long sight distances I prefer having...

DUUUUUDE
you found the missing link
Bring back the wierd and unusual creatures.
Morrowind had flying jellyfish, giant crocodile heads with legs, pterodactyl looking birds, giant bugs that shoot fire, and worms that grew up to be bi-pedal crab-people-looking things!
Oblivion had none of that. Come to think of it, Oblivion's wildlife was rather boring by comparison.
better voice acting
How about more Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart
[editline]03:37AM[/editline]
Also add some Jeremy Irons
They should take some of the nicer features from Mount&Blade.
(Fighting on Horse Back)
(Fighting that feels like fighting)

Actually Oblivion has a great battle system.Specially with mods.
Capes, better high end armor that doesn't look balls, such as glass and daedric.
Combat doesn't suck. Not seeing the same armor sets over and over again depending on what level you are.

Learn the names of the creatures you're slaughtering. Those are netches, daedroths, cliff racers, shalk beetles, kwama foragers, and dreughs, respectively. And kwama foragers don't grow into dreughs. :smug:

There should also be Fallout 3-style Trog people.

whaaat ?
The oblivion game engine is quite good.
( The Elderscrolls Construction Set )
anyways i'd like to be able to forge my own stuff.
And make the movement more.. i dunno dynamic ? I mean. When you damage somebody it just feels so fake.
