If they implement Small group multiplayer, you should be able to see the other players health, mana, fatigue and locations.
Dark Messiah Combat system,
Kick? Yes...
I can't really see how the Dark Messiah combat system will go along with for example, having a lot of HP. Wouldn't that just be like the old combat system? Just bash on the enemy until he's dead. As Radioactive said, kick would probably be the only thing they could implement easily :v:
I remember when I got Oblivion I never knew fast travel existed (I was used to Morrowind...) so I kept walking to cities all the time. To be honest, I liked that time and if you don't like fast travel don't use it.
New animations. More voice actors!
New engine, the old one should be scrapped completely. Better animations (they were horrible) and character models (maybe some decent models this time?). Dark Messiah-style combat system and magic system (spells in Oblivion were very boring). General fixes to AI and such, also some decent locations.
Pirates. Lots of them. And booty. Shitloads of booty.
good looking faces fallout 3 was better for this but still sucked
Bring up pet dragon from egg.
I want to see a return to more of a Morrowind-style game (with the exception of the combat) along with the elimination of free fast travel. Also, it should be set in the Summerset Isles.
good looking faces fallout 3 was better for this but still sucked
Especially on women, damn they looked horrible, and males looked bad too (although not as bad as the women did).
No fucking level scaling.
No fucking level scaling.
That. Damn level scaling was probably one of the things that ruined it most for me.
When you kill a shopowner, I want that shop to remain open but with a new owner. I hated how once you killed an NPC they would never come back
Whenever you talk to someone, make it so they aren't staring straight into your eyes 100% percent of the time.
Wouldn't it be likely that Bethesda utilized the ID Tech 5 engine now that ZeniMax acquired ID software?
I want to see a return to more of a Morrowind-style game (with the exception of the combat) along with the elimination of free fast travel. Some way to incorparte the procedural generation from Daggerfall while still keeping the main quest somewhat linear.
Whenever you talk to someone, make it so they aren't staring straight into your eyes 100% percent of the time.
Beth need to take a look at Mass Effect. That had good conversation parts because the characters weren't staring right into your face all the time. I'd rather like if Bethesda didn't make the rest of the game pause when you were in conversation, and didn't make you zoom into the other's head and shoulders. It narrows down the number of things you can do to show the other speaker's mood and whatnot.
I want people to stop thinking that the fucking Source engine, Cryengine, and Unreal Engine are the solution to every game's problems. Shut up. Aside from that, better animations, WAY better ai, a new engine (I want bethesda to completely remake their engine and make it 10000000 times better), better textures, less shiny and bloom bullshit, speech systems that don't have the person you're talking to staring into your very soul, better models, better draw distance, better terrains, BETTER JUMPING (looking at you, Fallout 3), and so much more.
I want more epic weapon. I want to do a god damn very hard quest to find a decent weapon, not something that is worse than a deadric (which is the max in heavy) or the glass (or the best light category) so: -More epic weapon -More epic armor -Npc don't level with you. some are low leveled and others are very high leveled -No cap in the equippement stats PLEASE -animation (like everyone else)

I doubt that they don't want to make one, I just think they are uncapable of doing one (of course things might have changed now). No more level scaling. NO MORE LEVEL SCALING. They should look at Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 respectively, take the best features of those games then build upon it to make a great game. Lastly, for god's sake (and I know it will never happen) make menus that are easy to navigate. Bethesda really needs a new UI department or something, other than that I really trust that when this new elder scrolls game comes out they will listen to us and make it (for the most part) a fantastic game.
If they overhauled Morrowind's engine for Oblivion, and then Oblivion's for Fallout 3, then I'm pretty sure that they could make a new one.
Yeah a new one, but a good new one? Honestly while I think that Bethesda's guys are skilled, I think that they have some big "competence holes" (as animations and models). [editline]06:20PM[/editline]
They've got access to ID's staff now, they can do MUCH more.
Yeah hopefully, because Oblivion had huge potential, and always felt like it was much less than what it could have been.

Anything but Morrowind's Combat. GOD DAMNIT I STABBED YOU IN THE FACE IT HIT YOU!
Less Qunaity More Quality I don't care if I only have a small ass place to explore, everything in Oblivion was dull and had no real detail nor depth
