Easy to mod, better animations and better combat. And secondary a better assortment of actors and a more varied appearance among the people.
Really pissed me off in Oblivion how they used the same voice actors for Nords/Orcs and Argonians/Khajiits, Dark Elves/High Elves/Wood Elves. They sucked ass at acting too, GET BETTER/MORE VOICE ACTORS, OR NONE AT ALL! I hated talking to Jauffre and having that Vincente guy from the Dark Brotherhood sound EXACTLY LIKE JAUFFRE! I would also love it if they brought back the old Morrowind style voices for the Dark Elves, the raspy evil sounding voice.
Jauffre and vincente had different voice actors i think.
The real radiant AI they were working on for TESIV and not this watered down bullshit. And dark messiah sucks cock, why would you dinglebopers want some cheesy source engine FWOSH shit?
I didn't like the randomly generated loot in caves. In Morrowind, I liked knowing where to get some decent equipment.
That would suck, alot. That's like turning The Elder Scrolls into a roguelike.
Fine, just scars.
dark messiah was awesome what the fuck are you talking about
If I wanted a shit version of PVK2 I would just go play PVK2.
There would be nothing wrong with optional small group multipayer. People somehow thing it would ruin the game.
A better more realistic combat system with good animations. Also a better storyline.
If I wanted a shit version of PVK2 I would just go play PVK2.
Did you actually even PLAY the singleplayer mode?
Multiplayer Either Randomized dungeons or weapons (Perhaps prefix + suffix) More physical combat system (I just wasn't... /feeling/ Oblivion's combat) Better magical system Mounted Combat Larger landmass to explore.
AA that actually make a difference. I had no FPS loss nor did anything look better with 4x AA.
What i want is a AI relationship system, so that a NPC is not just a NPC, that it is more like a human, they have relations that can worsen and become better towards other NPC's, also that if you kill a NPC that their family would come after you in a rage because of that. Let the NPC's commit crimes, steal and get caught, let the player be able to free them and become friends with him and start a crime ring. Also let the player have a normal live if they want to, let them open a shop, let them create things like spells, armour and maybe open their own guild, and if you are really into it, conquer a city, and make the player manage it.
Game needs more cliffracer
Game needs more cliffracer
Oh god yes. Great now I want to play some Morrowind.
Multiplayer Either Randomized dungeons or weapons (Perhaps prefix + suffix) More physical combat system (I just wasn't... /feeling/ Oblivion's combat) Better magical system Mounted Combat Larger landmass to explore.
Multiplayer would end up being everyone crafting 100 reflect damage boots, ganking with Umbra or Daedric weapons, and high levels attracting monsters into low level zones.
Demon's Souls does that. TesV needs to do something fresh.
Medieval wars with magic!
Multiplayer
Just wait until Zenimax Online Studios reveal their Elder Scrolls MMO. Multiplayer in a singleplayer based Elder Scrolls game would ruin the experience.
Pretty much everything Firgof Umbra said plus the introduction of firearms like muskets and the like.
Just wait until Zenimax Online Studios reveal their Elder Scrolls MMO. Multiplayer in a singleplayer based Elder Scrolls game would ruin the experience.
Nice avatar, Monkey Island is a p. sweet series.
They only did the Vvardenfell section of Morrowind, it'd be cool to see the rest of that. But the Dark Messiah fighting style looks unfair.
-Like everyone has been saying include Dark Messiah like combat. Don't make it unfair just make it faster and fun like Dark Messiah is. so you can actually use things like your enviroment and other parts of your body, restricted to your sword ruins it for me and the fact there is never anything unique that happens in a battle makes it very tiresome. Makes this different for each class aswell and make it stat specific, Dark Messiah had no stats (So I believe) so if you say get more agility you actually feel it in battle. While if you have a high weight and aren't agile it's very clunky and hard to move in combat scenarios. So someone like a ranger swift and agile with light armour can dodge and jump out the way while swipping at there enemy. -Proper spell, the spells in oblivion are terrible you can get a spell called "Suber Uber Fire Explosion 50000" and it still casts the same fireball you got at the start of the game, the spells need to look individual and unique, For example as a mage you can make a basic fire ball to begin with but later on in the game you can say for instance create a wall of fire. This not only makes you feel like you have progressed but gives some depth to the spell system. Take alook at older games, Neverwinter Nights for instance the spells were pretty unique there for the most part and that's OLD! You know make you feel like a proper mage, make it so you can actually feel powerful and strong after progressing in the game. Like learning some extremely insane spells. -Refering to the above Betheseda also needs to work on there weapons, there are so few unique weapons in the game most weapons are rehashes of weapons already found in the game plus no weapons really make you feel powerful or show progression. -Weapons have effects, for instance if a weapon does fire damage make it look on fire (I know a mod that already handled this) I want to see proper particle effects. -The worst has to be the staves (Once again mages get the bad hand) they are literally all skins, except say the odd few which do little or anything except one different spell, and these wear off over time (I believe you used something to recharge them) there are like 6 unique staves. - The Radiant AI sytem this time please. No psychic guards aswell. - Please, please have a more interesting way of dialogue this time Fallout 3 has the same thing Oblivion had get rid of it. Stop freezing characters in chat and have the A.I talk freely in realtime so your not right in there face, have things like hand movements, pacing and other such movements to dialogue which relate to the character. -A better system for mixing ingredients and the like, one that could be fun rather than constantly looking at a menu make a small minigame of the alike take alook at the one they included in the recent Harry Potter game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwcqXeHJUrw". Do something similair for spells. Also throw in some experimentation for potions, so you can make some unique set of potions through experimentation rather then following a exact list of ingredients and outcomes. -Animations this time please. -A combat system for Warriors, if mages weren't bad enough warriors basically get a power attack and thats it, they need to add things like feats. Abilities warriors can do, like I dunno some whirlwind attack with there sword (Don't make it unrealistic). -Simplifed classes, add relevant classes (Where is the Necromancer). -Classes have no uniqueness, if you play a Healer you should have access to unique and exclusive abilities/spells. The fact all classes mix with the same tree's of magic means that you can play one class and literally have seen all the same spells of another class. -Larger, more epic battles can't we see any huge wars or anything (Make the engine handle more enemies on screen) or just reduce the amount of detail spent on character seriously overblown polygon count is insane and uneeded. -Weapon upgrading/blacksmithing. Like seen in Dark Messiah make the effects after this seem noticeable. Like you've actually changed your weapon, Dark Cloud style!!
No clairvoyant Guards. Seriously I kill someone in the middle of nowhere not a single person saw, I go to a town miles away and suddenly "Stop right there criminal scum" What the fuck?
Better animations, less loading screens, leather/light armor, better combat system.
Sounds to me like you would really like the skate series, that is if you are into skateboarding at all.
Hahaha you are right. skate is one of my favourite games ever. And that's because it works. I was total shit at the start, but now I can remember every trick and do them whenever I want. I don't need stats to tell me I can't do them at the start, and it keeps a constant challenge to everything, old tricks don't get useless in the game and all you ever see is the best ones. Not to mention, by the very nature of this control scheme, it is highly in depth, skate is proof. I honestly think all games should do this. In a nutshell, you should move the character, not the camera/"box" of the player that plays some animations.
Just wait until Zenimax Online Studios reveal their Elder Scrolls MMO. Multiplayer in a singleplayer based Elder Scrolls game would ruin the experience.
Umm co-op?
over hauled melee combat system, something new, NO MORE block, slash, block slash, block slash. Dark messiah was a big step in the right direction! Alot more skill, i remember when i first played I found it hard to kill anything because they would just block all my attacks, I learned you had to dodge and stuff to be able to actually hit anything. I would let them do a jumping verttical attack, and when he landed i would be beside him and bring my sword down on the back of his calf and his foot would come off :D. The new game will need something alot slower, you should be able to anticipate what your enemy will do and counter. maybe you will see him swinging vertical for your head, and you will block above you. Or he will do a slow wide swing and you will have to move or block on your side. in a good melee setup i belive that your ability to block/dodge/evade should be just important as your abillity to slice chop and skewer. This will add alot more SKILL to the melee combat. Aswell we would need more blood/gore, Nothing crazy like full body gibs, but visible gashes and severed limbs, as well as blood pools and drips, if you get sliced and try to run awa y there may be a minor trail of blood, nothin crazy but drips.
it needs to be more like mass effect. but have the destruction of red faction guerilla but better and have geomod but revamped. availible on the ps6 and xbox 1080.
some sort of MP capability (either an arena fight mode, something like MTA, whatever) EUPHORIA physics the ability to own and run shops/companies
I want to be able to run it on my computer. (I can run oblivion just fine. But a lot of new games, I don't know if I can.)
