Is the gameplay similar to Stalker in terms of quests, inventories and stashes?

Metro 2033 is more just really tense and atmospheric rather than scary; it's not a horror game in my opinion.

Wow, that's beautiful. I wish I had Windows 7. All I have is XP, and upgrading costs a lot right now.

I scare easily so thats why I tend to call it horror game but I do agree it has much better atmosphere then F.E.A.R. did.
