This Power Replace item has a chance to add a toxic effect to kick attacks.
Damnit, I have no more missions left I can get untill I finish this damn instance that I cannot solo.

I think you need to be a soldier to use it.

You need to equip it and it'll replace your primary offense and change your pistol into a flintlock as long as it's equipped.
I love how the stat mods are not visible. That needs to be fixed so I can have the best items equipped.

Also you will permanently unlock the flintlock, so it will be in the tailors where your weapons are. This applies to every power replace item with a blue mask on it. A grey mask means you already unlocked it.
Look what I found while questing in Vibora Bay.

Welp. I played this for a good week or so, solo. It's pretty good, but for a free account, things are very limited. For instance - not being able to talk in any sort of chat besides local. Finding a group for the many group quests I needed to do wasn't easy. I had to go out and grind a million cheesy gangsters to get a high enough level to plow through quests and instances meant for a group, just to complete it and get it off my list. By this time, the rewards were a bit dated and I made more experience grinding mobs than the quest that was meant to be difficult itself.
Anyways, good game but it could use a few fixes, tweaks and features for a free account to really hold me. It wasn't enough to get me addicted enough to pay for the game, and their free account restriction wasn't quite loose enough to keep me playing past the frustration of completing the harder quests.
My useless two-cent conclusion: Good game, MAYBE worth paying for. Free accounts have a little too much limitation on them with the chat-restriction. (I understand that they need to restrict chat to avoid gold farmers but I spent a few days leveling up past 10 and still couldn't chat, that's a bit dumb and useless.)

You can talk in Zone chat after a while.

How long does it take? I might pick it back up again. I believe I'm 11 or 12 and still can't chat.
20 hours of gameplay across all characters.

I don't know what class your playing but on both blade and soldier I can easily solo 'group' quests.
Brawler, melee behemoth something. I can't exactly remember the specific name. Boss fights were giving me a hard time.
[QUOTE=noobcake;28063838]20 hours of gameplay across all characters.[/QUOTE]
20 hours of gameplay just to use chat is a bit over the top, in my opinion.

It sucks, but it's a necessary evil as without it the game would be rife with advertising and shit.
Here's my character:

What do you guys think? :buddy:

Also, at level 6 i was only able to choose one of the two lvl6 abilities? Is this how it works or can i acquire both of them?

Why they would do it in the first place is beyond me. I can see 2 hours or 10 levels or something.

I don't really think it's necessary to shit on their free accounts (i.e. potential future paying players) to make up for their lack of spam account removal and general laziness. I totally understand something like this in the game, though - putting up a wall that is 20 hours thick before you can prove you aren't guilty of being a spammer seems to be working well for this game. But, forcing you to play for days before you can even speak in chat with everyone is just a little over the top to me.
Personally I'd almost rather be spammed with the ability to block the spammers than to not be able to talk for 20 hours worth of newbie zone playing that grouping up for would be very useful and fun for. I can't even ask questions or opinions on building my new character, which is just a bit sad. That's all.
I know I'm late, but try to use less dark colors on your characters. You'll look more unique that way. And there are waaay worse things than some chat restriction, for example power hueing. I used to love making blue fire and red ice crystals flying around and impaling stuff.

No offense but I'm not impressed. You used black, red, and demon/monster looking parts. EVERYONE does this.

You wouldn't be able to ask anything then either as your question would be spammed away 1.5 seconds due to goldsellers.

I know, I myself was kinda disappointed when I got in the game and saw shit load of people using those wings and stuff.
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
Also, what about my level 6 abilities.
Should I buy inventory slots? Is it worth it?
I think the key to being unique isn't avoiding demons or wings, but rather looking good and assembling your hero well. I always stop and look at a well thrown together character for a second, yet a giant glowing silver wolf-headed ball with arms and legs garners none of my attention.
I rarely use up my slots, unless I haven't unloaded my loot into crafting materials or sold them, if you don't like making pitstops then go for it.

That would be my current character of the two I use regularly. Anyone hazard a guess which framework it has? :v:

Mind.
Nobody picks mind.
Is it a mind?
It's Power Armor.
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
Really...
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
Also, I've got a Healer/DPS Sorcerer as my other main. So yeah, I did pick mind (sorta)

People need to think that they can make a demonic looking character without adding wings or some shit. I like to think my main in demonic-ish without having lolhugewingsandhorns. Black eyes, dark colors, claws for hands, chains on the costume and the Infernal Supernatural powers. Think [I]subtlety[/I].
I saw this guy earlier, I thought he looked pretty cool.

Is there a way to make the camera less clunky and useless?
Aw shit, now that teleport is nerfed it isn't really worth it anymore. That reactivation is really getting to me, but I can't remove it and get a new travel ability unless I get thirty to forty something gold (global, whatever it's called.) :smith:

Better start farming...
