Just made a new world in infdev, started on the top of a mountain so I made it my home and put a house made of wood and dug into the mountain, used stairs, spent like 4 hours working on it then I remembered that ladders were put in the game

Take an excisting one and edit it.
Find your minecraft.jar and open it with winrar or something. Then replace file.

It's not perfect.
Must say i quite like tinheads grass. Might put that in what i've got now see if it's any better. Too dull as it is now. But trees look great.

Borrowed a friend of mines account and started Infdev. Any way to remove night? It's really annoying, and it doesn't seem like there's any coal near my house so I can't really make torches.
Also is there a client of some kind I can use so that I can turn up the resolution a bit?
And is it possible to save when playing Infdev?

I've made a snow tileset with a few changes. That being that Iron ore , coal , gold and diamond are easier to spot since .. well , see for yourself. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/COal.PNG[/img]

How do you install it?
Easy.
Press the windows button and R and type in [quote]%temp%\[url]www.minecraft.net\[/url][/quote]
Then go into [quote] minecraft_infdev\ [/quote] and open the [quote] minecraft.jar [/quote] with winrar. Making sure you aren't running minecraft , drag the terrain.png file into the jar. Click ok on the window that pops up. Then , close all those windows down and open up minecraft.

Press f11 for fullscreen, infdev autosaves and saves when you press "quit game" after you press esc, dig for coal, no way to remove night

Oh fuck oh fuck. I am so scared of the height atm. Trying to bridge a medium sized cliff. If i fall down i die and have to walk 12 minutes, get the stuff back and climb back up. Every step is terrefying lol.

That's why I'm building my complex over water.
The generator hollowed out this area of land for me so the walls are flat, and it exposed a lot of coal veins and some iron veins. And what was even more convenient is that there's a coast at one edge and the rest is pretty much water. So I'm building my complex over the coastline and water so when I'm building, I'll just fall into the water. :v:
