Whenever I use cartograph I render fully but then it crashes and creates two files Example.txt and level_in and nothing else, anyone know a fix?.

Yes that sounds good. But on 128 layers i am not sure if you get the full effect. 12 down from the top is like inside the clouds.

Started playing Infdev recently, and Indev too. and i prefer Indev...
The randomly generated caves made spelunking more dangerous. digging into a random pit by accident was bad, but having monsters lurking in there was awesome.
Trees actually die if you cop them down,
seemed to be more pigs. and it felt harder on hard mode than infdev.
If he adds cave complexes full of monsters and ores to infdev ill be happy (because ladders and doors are awesome)

Gotta remember that infdev will have all the indev features pretty soon, since Notch had to recode the entire block system to get infdev to even WORK.

I seem to have gotten the old trees that Notch removed, weird. Then I went on the other island (you can see on my map at the bottom) and the trees went back to normal. Weird!

Happened to me too. It happens when you play on a map from before the tree update.
I dug down to lava, forgetting that lava existed. I lost all my stuff, except for the stuff in my closet :(
When he adds caves again, will you have to like do what you do now to see the new islands? Like move area so it can generate
