Also when notch makes tree leaves go away after logging, I hope he also makes them GROW BACK if you're just taking the leaves off to gain saplings.

To the guy who posted about fireplaces/bonfires a page or so back. It's a great idea and it works flawlessly except for one problem. Logs, planks, they all burn rather quickly. There needs to be a new block that burns for a long time just for the sake of burning.Could simply call it firewood and make it from either:

S=Stick
C=Coal

SSS
SCS
SSS

or

C=Coal
A=Nothing
P=Plank

CAA
APA
AAA

yep dude gold trees would be win but i havnt even got diamond yet :P cause i cant get my dang cartograph to work i always stops working like when i click rendr it stops responding any tips on what to do?

How do I install skins, I've deleted the terrain file in my minecraft folder, and replaced it with the skin I want, but every time I go into minecraft, it goes back to the default.

I did inject it into the jar actually, it just didn't work for whatever stupid reason, but now it does.

I'm using 7zip, and by my calculations, it did work, just not immediately and after multiple tries. I'm clearly doing SOMETHING wrong.

I'm also adding a different skin now, because the skin in question was ugly as hell after I saw it in action, so I'm installing 8-bit heroes. :V
