Okay so when planned the pool on my roof I didn't expect it to fall through the wood and flood my entire house.

Java froze while I was doing it and I guess it didn't save one layer but the water on top of my house it did.

I'll get you one. It's from before the level generator update, so it's not on an island, but if you want islands just walk till the generator generates more :v:

Does anyone else get a bit of lag on infdev? Even with fog at closest it won't change so I am guessing it's just the game and not me if fog doesn't help.

Can anyone just upload theres aswell please? From the new generator..? It's easy and I don't want to leave Minecraft just sitting there. Need to start playing it again.
I'm not a fan of the new water either, should flow until the source is lower than where it's getting out from, I'd rather have the old water than this.
Checked out of school early just to play with the new water.

imagine: starting and creating a small base. you get everything set up. But now its time to explore. you gather enough wood to craft a boat during the day, it starts to get dark. You run back to your base and get working. of course you finish crafting before the day comes. So you sit there imagining how far you will travel out into the ocean before you decide to land. it starts to become day. So you prepare a sword and fight off the remaining mobs. you walk over to you dock. you deploy your boat, and put all of your supplies on your boat. And sail off into the infinite ocean.

we seriously need boats yeah....also: imagine sitting in a boat in a big pool of water on top of a mountain, with 1 block stopping it all fromg making a waterfall to the sea, you get in the boat, delete the brick and fall all the way down the waterfall into the ocean, off to a exploration trip.
but im not yet completely happy about the water:

I want a combination of the old water and this water. The several levels can stack like that as an animation but I want it to flow and work just like it used to.

You can create a spring block without scooping it up, just play around with removing different blocks around the water
