The new water works great, except the ocean should have infinite water, it's annoying trying to make a river only to have it dry up after a few blocks.

Yeah for some reason that's harder to find than diamonds, at least for me.
I have a nice house inside of a large, wide, cave like hole in the side of a mountain. It's probably about 25 - 50 blocks high and my house is situated at the end of the cave. So far, it has:

[*]A main room with a crafting table and furnace
[*]An art room where I display my pieces of art I have collected
[*]A storage room where I keep all 5 chests which I have and where my lava operated environmentally friendly disposal hole is
[*]A mine on the bottom of the map which is partially lit by lava, has a crafting table and a furnace, and is quite lengthy but is not as big as most other peoples mines are.

All of these rooms aren't that large, the biggest room in my house excluding the mine is my main room which is 5x5x3 in size of blocks. The other rooms are 3x6x3 in size of blocks, as well is the entrance of my mine. If I were to add a sauna and pool I would definitely increase the size of the room I would make it in.
In addition, I will add a sauna and a pool to either the art room or the main room, I can't decide which.
I am quite proud of my house. I haven't made it too small nor have I overdone it. It is also quite cozy.

I've found like 10 gold so far. Didn't mine it yet.
Never ever found diamond though. Not even on a different world or older version of minecraft.

Everything I own is on the other side of that door that you can't see because it's hidden by lava. That door leads to a bridge that leads across a small ravine to my storage room.
It was designed specifically not to be reached by any other way than that lava covered door right there.
I better get outside and start building dirt stairs...
