I like how water dries up if you collect the source (unless doing the aforementioned tricks), yet lava can be infinitely replaced provided you gave it time to stop flowing before collecting the source. OH GOD I LOVE BUCKETS! Well i logged in this morning, and because i forgot to seal off my underwater bubble, it flooded quickly. i just managed to mine through the bottom slice so the water would drain straight out into lava and not floood my underground, killing me in the process. so i moved across a random distance, and started mining up, luckily i came out on an island, and avoided a second flooding. sealed off my bubble base, made it drain properly. and decided to make a shack on the island. Originally, i wwas gonna have a water moat, but then i remembered i could bucket up water. used 4 bucket fulls of lava and some fairly clever manipulation to fill the moat without having to go to the core over and over. Waited till night, set dificulty to hard (because when dealing with lava. PEACEFUL.) and got 8 Creepers to follow me to my shack. i ran inside, closed the door, and then looked out through the glass wals to see the creepers blindly walking into the lava moat, and sizling instantly. No more being Ssssssshed when i leave my house of a morning ;)

So yeah, I was playing around on infdev for the first time in a long while, and I decided to try making a pool and filling it from the ocean. It might not have worked very well, but as it turns out, I suddenly didn't care about that. I hit iron! [img]http://imgkk.com/i/0yiz.png[/img] I immediately made 15 buckets and set out to flood the world. :dance:
