A suggestion for the game from me:
Fruit patches, they are like ores, but on the grass. 3 Different types: Speed fruit, Health fruit and Oxygen fruit.
Health fruit patches can be tilled for health fruit seeds, which can be planted and farmed. When eaten a health fruit restores 5 units of health. Speed fruit patches in grass are rare, when planted and harvested, you get a speed fruit and when eaten it increases your walking speed by 1.5x. Oxygen fruit patches are also rare, and when eaten let you breathe water for 60 seconds.

A mini-farm using lava for light, basically copied off of a picture ZomBuster posted where he did the same thing.
There's water below the crops too.
Sure I could use torches, but it's just not as cool.
And I forgot the water has to be on the sides, oh well. I'll just do that now.
I started a new world a few hours ago because my best save got royally fucked over when I pressed the power button on my keyboard accidentally instead of print-screen. Now the new world is going good, it's on normal difficulty and I made a habitat for zombies, skeletons, and creepers. Of course there's a wall and a window separating the habitat from my house. It has a small pond in it, a small grassy area, and a cave in it. The whole habitat only has one torch in it and the cave is the darkest spot and will serve as their breeding den.
Currently no mobs have spawned in it yet but there will definitely be some to come, and I will enjoy observing their antics, perhaps even do some experiments on them.
If anyone wants pictures (even though there's nothing in the habitat except for the habitat) I will take some.

I'd enjoy some pictures, that sounds like a cool idea. Shame the mobs will just keep staring at you through the glass.
So I was building my castle way out in the water (far enough so that I can't see my main island with rendering on far). Suddently I hear noises and I instantly think "What the hell could've gotten out this far?". So I go down to the lowest floor and there it is. A pig. A pig ventured all the way from the island to my castle (or it might just have spawned there, but it's much funnier to pretend it walked all the way).

To the left I plan to add a tree farm, crops to the right (there's water nearby to that side as well), and a treasury in the front. In the entrance of the stairs, will be a path to the base.

haha I hate you now, i've only ever found 2 caches of diamond which made me 3 diamond pickaxes and a diamond chestplate, one of those pickaxes was claimed by fiery lava as i accidently mined through the floor and the other 2 have been used up. *sad face*
oh and you too Zeratux *glare*
Am I the only one that doesn't use their diamonds when they find them? I made a diamond sword and the rest the diamonds that I've found are in storage.

Same, besides there's not much point in squandering them when there's still things to appear in minecraft.
Yeah I mined about 20 diamonds and I've only used 8 of them. The rest are in storage.

So i just continued my game, had some diamond in my inventory, I spawn, under the map, and fall in the lava at the bottom, losing my shit
I am wondering, can you download other players skins somehow, because I want to download my own, yet due to a format a while back, I lost all my created skins :saddowns:
So, i'm new to infdev, created a nice starting castle and hollowed out part of a large rocky area, any suggestions on what i should do? I'm assuming just dig down until i reach something :x.
