Classic Doom stuff
Make a section on www.doombuilder.com, add awesome wads to play (Alien Vendetta, Deus Vult 1 + 2, Plutonia 2, Scythe 1 + 2)
Add a section on source ports.
The graphics were amazing for it's time. And they're even good for todays standards. And to get lost like that you must be horrible at navigating.
You mean Doom 3?
No way
Yes.
Do I have to shoot the cyberdemon until it dies?
Do I have to shoot the cyberdemon until it dies?
No. You have to blackmail it until it suicudes.
No no no. Both of you are wrong. You just gotta figure out if anyone has been even far has to do look more like at it.
You should add a list of source ports, like ZDoom, and Skulltag, and such.

Added everything in this post.
Why, thank you!
The OP looks much better now. Much more fleshed out and all. If possible, though, it could be nice to see the enemy sprites from Doom I & II in addition to the Doom III renditions.
I didn't have alot of time and I couldn't find any sprites. I would only do it if i had high quality sprites.
DOOM 3 disgraced my childhood memories of DOOM.
You're jelous of those who can enjoy sequels and doesn't afraid of anything
Some ingame screenshots would be nice. I played the classic ones but some screenshots might work pretty well with the megathread idea.
This thread has more potential than most of the so called megathreads some random kid posts now and then...
I aim for quality in my megathreads.

They just take time. Not much, but some.
Doom 64 was an entirely new game, with crazy shit. Monsters were higher res, and different, there was a laser thing, all sorts of shit. The final boss could launch you into the air and had all sorts of secret "fun" levels such as "Cat & Mouse".

No way
i'm not shitting you... people talked as much about it as they talked about the HL2 graphics back then... check older forums if you wanna confirm.
And with good reason. They were great. They're still good, the games lighting (more like in-lighting) is where it shines.
Doom 3 was brilliant, one of the most solid and entertaining shooters I've played even today, graphics hold up so well, 1920x1200 on ultra with 4xaa/16xaf is very pleasing to the eyes, the low poly models being the only eyesore.
Flashlight was hit and miss for many people, I enjoyed the mechanic of trading might for light, I think people whined about it because the fear of getting jumped by an imp/zombie.
is it just me that gets a shade of brown when i'm 10 metres from shadows? it annoys me because it wasn't always there
I never noticed.
doom 3 is fun in coop
Doom 3 was pretty good, but I wish it didn't drag on for so long.
It just needed more polish and less imps jumping through doorways.

Really? I thought it rather excellently carried on the "shoot-first-think-later" mentality that defined early FPSes. It threw some basic horror into the mix, yes, it really is quite what I'd imagine if you took Doom I or II and recreated it with today's technology.
But I also really liked STALKER: Clear Sky just as much, if not more than Shadow of Chernobyl. So I guess I don't have good taste in sequels. :v:

pacepunch's only sequel lover, pretty cool jumping off the bandwagon of "sequelsucks" i'm joining.
Chex Quest? I remember it but yet I don't remember it...kinda strange.
Doom 3 was the only scary co-op for me. I want it again.

I never got auto-sequel hating. I give all things an equal chance.

I just don't like Doom 3 because of the whole flashlight thing and the darkness. I always get lost. I don't hate a sequel because it's a sequel. Lots of sequels are huge improvements over the original game.
Then get a flashlight mod.

Oh, so you say i just have to figure out if anyone has even far has to do look more like at it. Gotcha.
Yeah!
