I have this song on my HLSS.
Fun Fact: E1M1 is just a bunch of Metallica songs.
Fun Fact 2: The guy who did the music was a ex-lawyer so he knew how much music he was able to copy before they'd get in trouble
Cool stuff

Yeah, that's why this would be the second doom movie?
Dewm is awesome :keke:
Well, some people bought it for 35. Those lucky bastards.
That would be me, I got it during the holiday sale
if nobody's downloaded my mod, then why have 9 people downloaded my mod?

Does Doom 3 open co-op work with the steam version of Doom 3?
Yes.
Cool thanks :)

The first one was awful. The only thing it even had to do with doom was the BFG, and they decided to be pussies and call it the "Bio-Force Gun"
The movie was quite a disapointment

Doesn't make it not a doom movie, and it was basically doom one but instead of demons it was mutants.

It wasn't anything like Doom 1.
What the Doom movie should've been is just an action movie, Rambo style, but with demons, and space- and hell environment. Accompanied by thrash metal.
Demons/mutants on mars and you're better than everyone, get off mars. Seems like doom 1 to me.
I still play doom, mainly the port called Skulltag.

Well there weren't any demons and that's like the key element of Doom. I don't even think they were on the same planet (the movie - Mars, the game - Phobos). But still, what I meant was that it wasn't anything like the games "gameplay"-wise. To me it looked and felt alot more like Doom 3.

shut up about that mod already!
so, exactly how is the plutonia experiment like?

But the guy that took the BFG called it Big Fuckin' Gun.
The Doom Movie monsters were based off Doom 3, look at the pinky ('cept the stupid wheels) it is almost the same. The computer screens were somewhat based off Doom 3. Areas of the base were based off Doom 3 locations.
But the movie did suck. The FPS part was just stupid.
The Doom movie wasn't even like Doom 3 either aside from some creature design, I can't believe Stan Winston wasted his talent on such a pile of shit.
It was fucking Resident Evil in space.
DOOM 3 disgraced my childhood memories of DOOM.
Doom 3 was fucking awesome
I wasn't aware the second one made it's way onto the GBA. Did the enemies have normal blood on that port?
Nope. Blame Nintendo.

DECORATE is fun, but we don't want to see your first weapon.

I think you'll find I changed much more than weapons.

I would've watched that instantly.

It was the best part! But even if you didn't like it you must admit that it was a mandatory scene. There was a time when FPS:es were simply known as "Doom clones".

I liked that part too. Also if you look at FPS games from the 90s they were pretty much DOOM with a reskin.
Fuck yeah, this game is badass. Finally finished it on Ultra-Violent, took forever. I bought Doom 2 off of Steam recently but I can't stand the controls! I'm too used to playing it on the 360, would anyone happen to know how to setup a wired 360 controller for Doom 2 on the PC?
I love Doom more than anything and I still play it to this day. I only really play it on Skulltag though.. such a nice port

Would you like to see my first weapon for Doom? I took a screenshot of a weapon, and made it into a sprite:
