Would you like to see my first weapon for Doom? I took a screenshot of a weapon, and made it into a sprite:

Why'd you change your hud? The Doom hud is awesome.
Fuck yeah, this game is badass. Finally finished it on Ultra-Violent, took forever. I bought Doom 2 off of Steam recently but I can't stand the controls! I'm too used to playing it on the 360, would anyone happen to know how to setup a wired 360 controller for Doom 2 on the PC?
Use a source port

(The black and white is a custom palettes I made and was testing in that image. to lazy to boot up doom and take a new image)

Heres another weapon i just finished adding to Doom

Opal, you should put in a list of weapons/powerups, and you forgot enemies such as the:
Maggot
Trite
Vagary(Boss)
Wraith
Chainsaw Zombie (Under Zombie variations)
Cherub
Mancubus
Commando Tentacle Arm
Hell Knight
Gaurdian (Boss)
Tick
Sabaoth (Boss)
Heres a video if you want to imbed it in the op.

Some spoil stuff and some are not common enough to be relivent. I am going to add more but I am not near a computer for a while. I am on my iPhone. I'll add mancubus and stuff.
Im making a water based weapon next, and i need a sound.
The sound effect from Pokemon Gold/Silver for Hydro Pump would work perfectly, is there anywhere i can get it?
Doom 3 hellknights look so badass until you realise they have eyes :saddowns:

I play Skulltag often. I play a awesome wad called ZDoomWars in which it is Last Man Standing, but you have to kill the other players by spawning monsters. There's mana too to limit spawning and also factions, Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Virus, CQ and Strife. Maps are wonderful too.
Wouldn't it be easy to just spawn Cyberdemons?
Or are there limits to monsters you can spawn?

Cyberdeamons really aren't that big of a deal anymore.
So... final doom was not a recreation of doom? huh I thought they just remade the original Doom with doom 2 weapons and shit.
http://kdizd.drdteam.org/
Recreated the entire first episode of Doom 1, epic style. Its a mod for Doom 1 not Doom 2. It requires ZDoom to play, although I've heard it works in GZDoom as well.
I recommend downloading it to see for your self, the screenshots on the site do not give it justice.
I'll quote the about.
The experience of playing through Knee-Deep in the Dead is one that many gamers will never forget, but through the years the episode has become too easy for many to play through and enjoy the way they did the first time.
Knee-Deep in ZDoom is an interpretation of Id Software's original groundbreaking production, Knee-Deep in the Dead. The team has focused on expanding the original episode by utilizing the power of Randy Heit's ZDoom port; adding new areas, features, and gameplay devices not possible under the original Doom engine. Knee-Deep in ZDoom is a new experience, but holds strong to the atmosphere of the original. Relive the fear. Relive the nightmare. Relive Phobos.
* Adventure through all 9 reinterpreted Episode 1 maps
* Explore additional map content including basements, outdoors, and beyond
* Become immersed in the environment sporting a full compliment of new textures, ambient sounds, and interactive objects
* Relive the suspense of encountering new monsters for the first time
* Unleash the power of an extended arsenal
* Track your progress and performance with interactive statistics
* Attack each scenario alone or with up to seven cooperative partners
* Uncover additional features and hidden surprises
Relive Knee-Deep in the Dead: Experience Knee-Deep in ZDoom.
Final Doom is a bunch of fan-made WADs
No no no. Both of you are wrong. You just gotta figure out if anyone has been even far has to do look more like at it.
What.
Can someone translate please?
The FMJ mod is actually pretty damn sexy.
I would've bought Doom 3 just for that mod if only I didn't own already.
Final Doom is a bunch of fan-made WADs
final doom was made by TNT, 1 wad by the whole team, and 1 by two of the dudes there.
you were thinking of master levels for doom 2.
talking of that, anyone know if the creator of Mephisto ever released all of his 32 levels?
Wouldn't it be easy to just spawn Cyberdemons?

Mana would restrict you, but it does slowly regenerate. A cyberdemon would take 200 seconds to get enough hero mana for. Trust me, it feels like ages in battle.
Doom 64 was an entirely new game, with crazy shit. Monsters were higher res, and different, there was a laser thing, all sorts of shit. The final boss could launch you into the air and had all sorts of secret "fun" levels such as "Cat & Mouse".
Spolier much ?

Oh yeah, my bad
DOOM was fucking awesome.
Too bad DOOM3 had to be survival-horror instead of mindless shooter like it was in the beginning. It was badass.
I can remember when i was about 6 or something, playing DOOM on the ps1, i got to some stairs, and was too scared to continue because there was a baddie in the dark stairs, never touched it again.

Oh. How I felt your pain, I played it on the Gameboy Advance before and was too scared to go past the first door. I was pretty young. It's not even scary any more, the odd demon or imp might make you jump if you don't see it though.
I sense some hostility here related to my mod.
How about telling me what you hate about it instead of random flaming?
Oh yeah, my bad
no props mate, anyone know what happened to Sverre Andre Kvernmo (Cranium)'s mod?
he made 4 of the levels in master levels for doom 2 and i'm rather curious about the rest of his 32 level episode.
I really want Doom 2 for the Gameboy now
I have the first one, and it was always fun, so the second one couldn't be that bad, could it?
