This is really well made, and the graphics are really nice to look at. I'd buy it.
Yeah, it has nice graphics, but I really dislike having to manually do... well, everything.
Yeah, i too played the demo and liked it a while back but i was gonna pay 30 bucks for it. I got it through the humble bundle and i think it's a fun little game.

What I don't like is that cash obtained in battles is the cash used in research and it isn't acumulative, if you want to save for a better tech you might end up spending too much on the battle and so not only you can't archieve that tech, you have much less cash than before for tech. And you can't replay levels without resetting the entire campaign down to that level.

I need to research things, but I need the money for the next fight. I need towers for the next fight, but then I won't have as much money to research things.
My god I'm totally stuck on the later moon levels where practically every enemy is armoured (8 armour, even upgraded regular blaster is useless, have to use blast cannons), and is also really fast and the flank you too. What do?
Glorified flash game, it's terrible.
Glorified flash game, it's terrible.
I wouldn't say it's terrible, it's a lot of fun. But I can't disagree that it is a glorified flash game
I hate when people say that. It's not the medium, but the quality of the game. So what if the gameplay is nearly identical to that of a TD flash game? As long as it's enjoyable it shouldn't matter.
I personally can't get enough of TD games in any format.
I hate that you don't know what you're researching until you spent you money, that combined with the fact that you cannot replay single missions and try to improve on your performance without doing all subsequent missions all over again annoys me to no end. its a shame really, since I love tower defence games and I even considered getting this before the humble bundle, but the actual gameplay is kind of... meh. I'd much prefer if the turrets and refineries upgraded themselves instead of having additional semi-useless buildings that cost a shitload of money to research and deploy.
^Yeah I just got owned because my enormous investment in stun and rocket weapons is useless against ghosts, and I only got told this info when it was too late
Now available on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/93200/
Why the hell is everyone saying this is overpriced, a glorified flashgame, shit, etc? It's fantastic, and $15 isn't too bad. Try the demo first and take a look at the upgrades chart before judging. Best TD I've ever played, 99% of flash TDs are utter shit.

It starts out slow and takes a while to pick up speed, and it just feels... derivative. Sure, the upgrades add some interest but the core gameplay is just dull. It used to cost 30 dollars which was fucking ridiculous, but it's a slight bit more palatable at 15. Still, the existence of much better, and similarly priced, tower defenses like Defense Grid and Toy Soldiers sort of makes this pointless.
If I didn't already have it from the HIB, I probably would have never even thought about buying it at that price. Feels like a $5 game at best.

I got it in HIB2 so I guess I can't really judge it as I don't know what it'd be like to pay $15 for it.
I got this in the Fumble Bendy Grundle It's fun, but shouldn't be $27.
I got it from the humble indie bundle, Do you automatically get it on steam if you put the key in? I don't have it in my list.
Stopped playing this game in one swoop After getting it from the Indie Bundle. I didn't have enough money for the upgrade I wanted so I figured I'd go back to early in the campaign and farm for a bit. NOPE NO SIR THAT'S NOT ALLOWED. It made me start from that point and work my way all the way back up to where I was, and I was basically like "nope".

Doesn't even have cheats so you can't fuck around with stuff.
I was looking at the store page and it looked really cool.. Then I saw I already owned it because of the indie bundle. Time to play :buddy:
