Black Ops female assassin. When I first got to that part I couldn't see who killed that guard and when I went to look I heard the footsteps and I got killed without seeing what it was other than a black blur. No matter how many I kill I swear there are still some left.

Poison goddamn headcrabs. See, I'm really fucking terrified of spiders, and when one of those things comes crawling around a corner and goes "SKWERK SQUICK SQEEEEARK" I jump like a motherfucker. It's just the way they look and move. They're like headcrabs on steroids. It's fucking creepy.

I must emphasise this, the Gargantua. That thing is seriously scary when you first see it. That, the Nihilanth and the Ichtyosaur. Theyre just freakin creepy, man.

Seems that a lot of the scariest things are only found in the beta, or in raising the bar. I actually got a bit dissapointed in half-life 2 when i bought raising the bar and looked at all the stuff they planned, but never added.
