I would be getting loads of games from this sale but all my relatives refused to give me Christmas money, they would only get me physical gifts. I don't see the logic, they would buy me a single £40 physical game but wouldn't just hand me £40 to get several Steam games...
Mirror's Edge is on sale too huh? Just bought myself STALKER and am trying to decide if I should get Mirror's Edge too. I can't keep spending money. Got gifts for my friends and family already and I have college.
Choices choices.

But, I do have money.

There are plenty of people who would love Mirror's Edge, like me and about a hundred others.
If that helps your decision at all.
Mirror's Edge is a play once and never touch again game.
For five bucks Mirror's Edge is worth it, it'll offer you around 6 hours of entertainment.
Why are you guys gifting people things? D:
Hooman kind3ss - teh horror!

I think it's an alright game. Doesn't have much replay value in my opinion, though.
Hey thanks for all the feedback guys. Fast too! I think I'll think about it some and make a decision eventually tonight. Not that anyone really cares. Heh.
Enjoy your evening gents.
I'll give $15 to anybody in the future if they gift me GTA IV.
What do you guys mean Mirror's Edge doesn't have any replay value?
Can't you beat the levels in different ways?
If you can't it doesn't make me want it any less.
Just bought a shit-ton of games for $70.
Including Mirror's Edge. Worth the 5 bucks, I'd say. And I got Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky for $7. :3

You can go through shortcuts, but there isn't totally different passages.

There are a few shortcuts in some levels but it's still pretty linear.

How well can I run GTAIV? Thanks for the info.
I mean it should run fine considering I can run Crysis on max but I just want to check.[/QUOTE]
Your CPU kind of sucks (for this game at least) so you will have difficulty running it.
By the way, Crysis isn't the benchmark game it used to be anymore.
:holy: and :frown: at the same time.

I don't know whether to feel happy for you, or sad for you.
Ugh now If only my Steam was not broke.
At least when It gets fixed I'll have a bunch of new games to play with.

Snow was a suggestion. Do odd jobs or something.
Don't quite see the logic in the second statement.

I heard good things about the stalker series so what the hell

He has money in cash (AKA physical form) but no credit card/money on it (AKA digital form).
I plan on buying GTAIV so that me and TrueWolf can play together and jump off buildings.
Would I be able to run Stalker SOC?
ATI Radeon HD 3200
AMD Athlon x2 l310 1.5Ghz
4GB of RAM
Could someone be nice enough to gift yet another person STALKER? :saddowns: I'd be very grateful and will try to repay as soon as I can.
Or maybe even nice enough to gift me GTA4 instead of STALKER? Both are good though.
I finally figured out why VALVe does this:
Hard drive manufacturers reimburse them for any lost funds.

Effortlessly.
I've never seen a processor bottleneck a computer so bad, though.
I dunno if I'm willing to spend $5 on Mirror's Edge. Hmm.. I guess I still have around 35 hours to decide.
