Does the beta/demo end tonight? If it does then it looks like I won't be able to get into a 256 player game. Oh well.
It ends the 11th.
You're going to ruin the game for people who fall for you exaggerated hype.
I'm not hyping it, I'm easily excited, my hands were actually shaking.

If you would've mentioned that you are easily excited then you wouldn't be hyping it, but your previous post implied that the game is constantly like that and for everyone.
It ends the 11th.
It may as well end tonight, my internet is so slow it will take till the 11th to get done :-/
You mean like Modern warfare 2?
Yes. That's exactly what I mean, but Modern Warfare 2 is by far better than this crappy game

Me too. I can't believe nobody's caught on yet.

Fair enough, I apologize :(
I forwarded your comment to Zipper and SCEA, maybe you'll get on the box art!
This game is actually making me want a PS3.
This game is actually making a lot of people say the same thing
Actually Zipper said it would be tactical, but then when the beta came BOOM! they treat it like it was Call of Duty.
Edit: Thanks for the Bad Spelling rating now I've corrected it, who ever you are.
M.A.G was incredibly dull and boring.
I think it's more of a clan game. I'll play the game like a month after release and try to join a clan.

That's a big clan. The only thing making me even remotely to play the game again is to experience 258 players.

Big clan? A squad consists of 8 players, does it not?
Also, 256.

I don't think you've played a lot of online games. Clans tend to be in the hundreds when it comes to members. So, if you're implying 128 players won't be achievable you're far from right, 256 could be EASILY achievable.

It's 8 men to a squad, 4 squads to a platoon and 4 platoons to a brigade.
A good clan could just about fill up a Brigade.
This game takes some time to get into but it's rather like MW so you'll get the hang of it eventually.
However unlike CoD if you go lone wolf don't expect to last very long.
Decent players will stick with their squaddies (Commander bonus' FTW) Unfortunately quite a lot of people don't and as such the one squad that sticks together is capable of completely decimating 2 or three who don't.
The Medic ability with revive is more than handy and gets you loads of XP. I can have the most deaths an least kills on our squad but have the most overall points because i go out of my way to heal and revive.
At first i thought it was a bit drab but when i got into the game i started to like it more and more, now i am seriously considering purchasing it.

Medics are quite scarce in sabotage, though I rarely need one since I quietly snipe with my AM50 with silencer and adjustable scope, and tell my squad what front they're focusing on. :D
It looks like something I would rent if I had a PS3. Not a buy for me, I'd get Uncharted 2 over it any day.

If you get the medic stuff on sabotage you instantly become Mr Popular.
Plus the points you get for healing people on the objective is almost a little bit too much.
Got the demo, made a character and immediately found an annoying problem - the training mission in unlocked, but you can't actually get onto it. Had to jump right into the gameplay and the controls are confusing and enemies come from nowhere, literally. Your guns seem to do nothing against the other players, there are no iron sight anims and aiming during ironsight takes forever to track a target.
I'm probably just shit at the game, but it really hasn't hooked me as of now.

The training missions are missing for a reason that i don't know but go into options and ramp up the pitch and rotation. Makes tracking people much easier.
The lack of anims is because it's a beta.
I have seen some interesting anims in other areas. Of you instantly go prone from a sprint you guy will do a dive.
And yes you are shit at the game. We all were. It get better once you hit level ten but i still found it fun before i could play the 256 man modes. i just had to get into it.
I saw a preview in a magazine a while ago then when I read about it I saw it was for PS3, and they said "only the PS3 could handle this type of game" (and they were talking about PC, and XBox). More stupid attempts for money lol
The game would probably suck on PC because you have people with high ping because their too poor or are downloading things, and then there are hackers because they don't have any skill, and all the other shit that happens on other PC games. I'll mark this game with a big 'FAIL' They even failed at choosing a name for the game. If the name is really as bad as Massive Action Game, that pretty much says to me that the game has no point.

Graphically, out of the consoles, the PS3 wins by sheer processing power, 256 players + craploads of explosions aint easy to run at 30+ FPS you know.
PS3 over PC because you can't really hack on PS3 :D
It wont let me connect to any server D:.
no idea what game you guys are playing but I'm enjoying the beta even without a mic, do this
get past sabotage and you are good, get revive so you can whore XP up to domination matches
pick a side and stick with it, don't make a character on every team; it's a lot more fun to dedicate yourself to one side
if you get put with a clan just follow them; I had a good match with one where we circumvented out main domination objective and rand some sabotage spec ops behind their lines
MAG feels like Modern Warfare 2 quite a lot.....the controls are very similar. I found that weird. The whole game is weird. I want to rent the game when it comes out because this beta doesn't exactly have me sold, yet. The fucking install was the worst......it took like 30 minutes.
I feel MAG has this somewhat steep learning curve though, because everything is just.......weird. I kinda liked it, but I don't know how to feel about it yet. Plus, I'm pretty bad at it.
Beta is great. Level 17 medic as of now, and it's hella fun. I must say though, snipers have a huge advantage on big 256 player maps.
Oh, and I have experience zero lag as of yet, and I don't even have the greatest connection.

It looks good but IMO they're overstating the importance of the number of players. Players =/= Good Gameplay.
