Burnout 3 Takedown all day every day. That game requires jedi-like reflexes. Burnout Paradise is quite dull and slow in comparison.
My best friend used to wake me up at 6 AM every weekend to play Burnout 3, though we had it for the Xbox. Still my favorite racing game ever created!
I really enjoyed this game, I wish there were more like this
Really? I've not played it but anyone I've spoken to about it said they've really hated it.
This was...something really special.

A 22 hour old thread on the PS2 and not a single reference to Ratchet and Clank? I must've played through this level hundreds of times, for when I first got the PS2 I had no memory card, so could not save.
Best console ever in my opinion, just because the library of games is so huge and there are so many good games. Ratchet & Clank games are my favourite PS2 games.
I would've posted it but I thought it would be too obvious why I did so :v:

I really need to buy a PS3 and the collection so I can play multiplayer again

I was really dissapointed with a Crack in Time, I actualy really loved the vehicle parts and extra freedom some maps had. Also there were lot's of special memorable moments such as Qwark pushing the auto destruct button in the main ship :v: (I forgot it's name)

Although saying that, it is definitively my least favourite of the first 3. It's just very, grey? A bit bland looking really. Except for Planet Joba. That still blows me away

I think the one with the rockets was called Todano, the first part of the level had some of the best soundtrack I ever heard. Actualy it wasn't too bad, I liked it but I did enjoy R&C3 more. I loved Slim Incognito though and the ship upgrades system along with the new remote controlled spider.

Have you watched 2 of the developer's developer commentary on YouTube? It's pretty entertaining and very interesting. http://youtube.com/uselesspodcasts

Also Ratchet Gladiator is most memorable for it's sondtrack and the Landstalker, wish we had that in the first PS3 R&C. And it's a PS2 general, I guess nobody minds :v:
I agree that R&C2 is my least favourite out of the original three, still a great game though. R&C3 is the best one out of the PS2 ones. Also I dunno why Deadlocked/Gladiator gets so much shit, it's one of the most fun co-op games I've played.

I wonder if it's possible to play online with PCSX2. I can't afford the HD collection and I really hate the new HUD/Helmet changes, they look awfull.
1. Motherfucking kingdom hearts 2. Motherfucking star wars battlefront 3. Motherfucking ratchet and Motherfucking clank ^^my Motherfucking childhood
oh man, the love for ac04 is bringing back the memories. Also i keep hearing people talk about an HD collection for Timesplitters but it's still not appearing, would seriously play the hell out for that just for nostalgia
Acecombat 04 Shattered Skies was better than both of those games though
Distant thunder is the PAL version of shattered skies, bro.
Distant thunder is the PAL version of shattered skies, bro.
I actually had Shattered Skies, but for some reason I kept replaying through the missions even when I had a Memory Card to save with.
Distant thunder is the PAL version of shattered skies, bro.
never knew that carry on then
Ooooh, Playstation 2... Shadow of Rome, Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity, GTA San Andreas... Good games... Good games...
Oh man, i loved Ratchet and Clank. I'd try playing the PCSX2 emulator, but i have no idea how or where to get the BIOS.
battlefront 2 grand turismo 4 that's around 7 years of my life right there.
Oh man, i loved Ratchet and Clank. I'd try playing the PCSX2 emulator, but i have no idea how or where to get the BIOS.
There was an easy guide on how to extract it, I'm going to try to find it. EDIT: Here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3AVqzYcqSw
this sneaky cunt and this stud was about 1/4 of my childhood
I still need to finish Front Mission 5 on this console...
I have fond memories of my PS2 with a broken memory card, I had the first level of Jak and Daxter memorized :v:
Got a launch date PS2 within my arm's reach and three controllers, everything still works like a charm (well except the wireless one but I think it's just running out of battery power). Also went ahead and installed Free McBoot on a spare memory card, though that's mostly because a few of my games got damaged/disappeared when we moved to the new house. All I'm missing is a network adapter and hard drive and this thing would be perfect.
One of my PS2 favorites... :v:
One of my PS2 favorites... :v:
Oh god what. I've never seen any games like that :v:
