I went on the forums and posted my opinion on how their game designing skills suck shit, with a well-rounded and thought out argument, and got IP banned. The ban reason/excuse was that I called them out on their shit game design to make myself feel better. Anyway, to summarize it:
-Networking sucks. Zombies are clientside, but they try to make it seems serverside (watch your teammates fire at nothing :O)
-Extreme lag. There's virtually no optimization, and simply having a large number of players or enemies on the screen at one time drops your FPS to a crawl. (large being more than 4-6) (I run all my source games on "high", and have tried FF, Chrome, and IE)
-Shit tons of useless classes. There's literally like 5 of the same class, with different names and different amounts of money.
-The town GUI or whatever the fuck it is was confusing my first time playing. Probably because it looks like spilled brown paint.
-Games that "get better after level __" are not good games. They should be fun from the beginning.
What's so bad about the whole ordeal is that they actually have a ban reason for that, inferring that it's a [i]common occurrence.[/i]

Well, this game was made by like 6 PEOPLE! You got banned for harassment. How would you like it if someone came up to you after working 1 1/2 years on a game and said "your design skills suck"? That's pointless and trolling, and you can't really they suck unless you can do better. Were's your game? Also, I have never in my 40 hours of online play, have seen anybody "shooting at nothing", or this lag your bitching about. And the confusion is normal. Just spend some DAMN TIME ON THE GAME! Also, the classes are there like the Lawyer and Architect are really there for the names. Nobody is really ever chooses em anyway. Most people go soldier or boxer. I'm a fireman. Long live the chainsaws.

And if no one uses them, why not remove them and save space.

Obviously people that haven't experienced the de-synced haven't spent much time in multiplayer. Nothing sucks worse than being chased by 6 sprinting long arms into a dead end and your friend sees you shooting at air.
This game would be tolerable if it didn't de-sync, ever. An MMO should never de-sync like this.
When they release the 3D client I might give it another go.

Why would I want to make another game with this concept and yet once more, with horrible execution? People with experience or good and applicable ambitions should be working on this.

I think that would make a nice, quick, yet enjoyable project. Just add micro-transaction for all your money-grabbing needs.
Well you said the team would have experience, so this isn't there first MMO. I'd think they would try and go big.
I suppose having the experience to make an MMO, and the experience of [b]making[/b] one are different, but I was thinking of the latter.

Apparently since you haven't de-synced, if it wasn't a major issue it wouldn't be the games main failing point that everyone knows about. Try playing with people you can talk to outside of the game, on the fly, so everyone knows what everyone else can't see.

I've done that, and it's true, the de-sync in inner city is horrible. The syncing in outpost attacks are good though, everyone sees the other person's zombies.
