Bought. FUCK YEAH!
It has been in development for over a year with hardly any updates...
Which of the games? Overgrowth is getting weekly to daily updates. And yes it's furry fighting if you will, but once you've tried lugaru you know it will be awesome.

Afterwards I couldn't stop playing. [editline]05:03PM[/editline] Although I never got the hang of throwing knifes, I didn't know how to do it, it just happend when I randomly pressed some buttons.
I almost bought this pack. Then I read somewhere you'd get the pack for free if you pre-ordered one of the two games. THEN I realized I pre-ordered overgrowth six months ago. Good i'm low on money, otherwise I would've bought it again.

They sound like complete twats in the video advertising the deal. "Duuuuuudee where do you get thisss gammmee mann" No people don't sound like they are stoned 24/7 in the real world.
By the way, this was also posted on the NS site.
But I thought the map editor was the alpha? By the way, the map editor is surprisingly user friendly. Like, I can't even create a square room in Hammer, but NS2's map editor made sense just by reading the names of each tool.

No, the editor is in alpha, but its not THE alpha. This is apparent because they just recently posted that "our alpha will be out soon too!". Meaning they aren't talking about the editor, and they're referring to the same kind of alpha that overgrowth has out right now (hence the "too" part). There's more than just the editor out too, just so you know. The model viewer, builder, editor, etc are all out.

And yeah, it's a bit confusing. Both games have their editors released at the moment. Overgrowth calls it the alpha, and natural selection calls it the tools. It's basically the same thing. Just over 50 hours left for the pack. If anyone has any questions they want quick answers too, drop by in IRC. for overgrowth: #wolfire at irc.wolfire.com for natural selection 2: #naturalselection at irc.gamesurge.net I'm in both of them as Ltp0wer almost 24/7 The overgrowth channel seems to be more active, so drop by there for any general questions.
Shame that people keep overlooking this because it isn't on steam, it's two alphas, what did you expect. They can't sell that on steam. Besides, you can move your order to steam after you've bought it, this is confirmed by the developers of Overgrowth so far. The Unknown World guys are hopefully going to do that aswell, most likely will. (I'm starting to wonder how many times I've said this yet people still fail to get it.) Anyways, if any of you have bought the pack, have a look at my Overgrowth Thread where we can talk about the game and if you need any help with the editor and whatnot. I'm there aswell by the name of Toby.
You can move the games to steam? How so? With shitty shortcuts or proper download anywhere awesomeness :v: [editline]05:26PM[/editline] Oh, and is this the special edition or the regular edition of NS2 that's in this pack?
You can move the games to steam? How so? Also, I STRONGLY advise you to order Overgrowth and/or NS2 through them directly. They get the most money that way, and if you order now, they use your funds to develop their games directly. I can't speak much for the NS2 guys, but the main overgrowth developers (Jeff, David, John, and Aubrey) all work on overgrowth full time. They have no jobs other than working on overgrowth. This team up indie pack is 100% organized by Wolfire and Unknown Worlds, and they split the take 50/50.

In my opinion they could make more money than the UT3 engine if they market it right.

And no, no shortcut. Simply put, you move your order to steam. You get a key that works with steam.
I can't wait for the full versions of both of these to be released.
So they officially passed 1000 sales on the deal. That means Unknown Worlds and Wolfire got 20,000 dollars each. How fucking badass is that?
And john will dye/dyed his beard pink
If this were on steam I'd care.
What's the problem with a game not being on steam? You have to remember, by not being on steam they get to keep almost all the profits from purchases. If it was on steam, they'd get maybe 50%, if that. I love steam too, but I don't understand why we're paying the same prices we would in retail for much less material. Pisses me off.
I wouldn't have been able to buy the bundle. Good thing I won it in a raffle.
So will this package be gone once the timer finishes?
So will this package be gone once the timer finishes?
Unless they choose to extend the deal, yes.

Is anybody else unable to make a account on Wolfire's forums? I'm just getting a blank white page after hitting "I agree to these terms."
