I was pissed off when i found i spent 50$ on a hellishly crappy game.
What happened to the good ol' non-sucky graphics etc. etc.?
Every time its a child game, the graphics and stuff becomes complete SHIT.
This is more like a E10+ game until further notice. I miss the T rating style spore.

To be fair, even the 2005 version of Spore was never very scientific, it just had a loose set of rules based on reality. The difference between 2005 and release is execution. The Spore team apparently never heard the saying "Too many cooks in the pot".
I have a few things to say about this.
1. Will wright has left the company. Make your own assumptions based on this.
2. This looks very bland and boring, if I wanted a damn action rpg I would go play diablo.
There needs to be a Spore Fighter game, where you create a creature and fight with it.
I'll probably buy it, I liked Spore. So yeah.
Will Wright ain't with Maxis anymore, which might explain the total lack of creativity.

Honestly I wouldn't have chosen that name for this. I mean really, Spore has a ton of bad rep but this game looks like it pretty much has nothing in common with that.
This actually looks like nothing special. I'm not gonna be buying it.

God that game sucks.
most likely a 6/10 button masher with unnecessary cosmetic modifications and an extremely limited amount of customizations which actually genuinely change the gameplay, possibly by having a ridiculous amount of cosmetic variation of the same 20-30 abilities. Also including a very possible shitload of idiotic annoying DLC packs and various other originally "unforeseen" restrictions.
It will probably be difficult to make this game as much of a scarring soul shattering failure that Spore was, but who knows, very few people in the gaming word stand up to the mastership of EA and Activsion in that area.

Meh. I liked the release Spore, but the 2005 version looked much better in my opinion. As long as Darkspore has the same style creature editor( as in not templates), and they put the parts and textures in the original Spore for FREE (glowing textures specifically)then I am happy. Who knows, maybe their will be the ability to share creatures between the games. The Darkspore parts could exist in Spore as creature parts, purely cosmetic with no effect on gameplay unless imported to Darkspore.
With Spore, they took a highly realistic-looking evolution simulator and turned it into a squeaky rainbow-colored ball covered with googly eyes.
I will never trust Maxis again.
So I'll be skeptical of this game until it's released.
Even so, I don't have high hopes for it. I wish I could think of a better way to put this, but it looks like they're just slapping "dark" onto the previous release of Spore. Like they're taking that googly-eyed multi-colored ball and painting it black and drawing angry eyebrows on the googly eyes.

Also, I doubt very many people will preorder this after Spore. I waited 5 years for spore, I though it looked great, I even pre-ordered it. I dubbed it shit-tastic the first day of playing it.
I'm not buying it until others have played it, and am not looking at it. Spore killed me.

Yeah, I preordered it... Then I started seeing screenshots of single-celled organisms with googly eyes.
I should've canceled my order right then and there, but part of me kept saying "Maxis has always been good in the past"

Judging by the game-play it's just Spore Deluxe edition because its has what Galactic adventures added.

Actually, EA has been fucking awesome this gen. They just have a few studios in it purely for bullshit. (sports and maxis)
