So if your email is [email]poopypoop@gmail.com[/email], you can put in something like [email]poopypoop+shitdicks@gmail.com[/email] on the website when you register. It counts as a separate email, but it still goes to your main email address. This is great for when you want to register on a sketchy site, because then if they start sending you spam and stuff, you can just choose to block all the emails that go to your made-up address.
