Have I ever mentioned that you're awesome LasGunz?
I will make a 1024x1024 texture pack
I don't even think my computer can handle that
Or should start a 8x8 texture pack?
Have I ever mentioned that you're awesome LasGunz?
Why thankyou :p
This is silly to ask but did you change the folder with the updater?
Yeah well I tried doing the simplest thing that could come to your mind when having this problem, search for it. Too bad I'm too stupid and hard headed to do such a thing as the first step.
So yeah I found Minecraft.jar trough searching and it should be at the same directory as I was searching before, too bad that the directory is EMPTY and there are absolutely no copies of any directory like it.
It bugs me but I will get used to it.
ores are difficult :\
I like everything but redstone, but I don't like them enough to say I'm close to done with them.

iron, diamonds, and coal look okay, the gold looks a bit musturdy and the red stone looks like a glowing kidney.
I think Faithful 32x32 should be added. It's well made and made me realise what soul sand actually is. I personally don't use it but I do use the mobs and ice from it.

Bearing in mind that my "texture pack" (working name: LasCraft) is actually me looking at terrain.png, spending 15 minutes fucking around with a specific texture until I get something I think looks cool, this isn't a total conversion by any means and I'll get through everything when I have the patience or motivation to do so.
I'll eventually get around to aaallll the items and shit too but they won't change too dramatically, they'll just have my touch to them. Same for the GUI, the last time I messed with one for a texture pack it got so tedious and frustrating.
Making a texture pack. Nothing fancy, just poking around in Photoshop.
Here's the progress so far:

Photoshop filter rape over original textures and sloppy work, good lord..

It may be just a filter, but it doesn't look half bad.
I think especially the Diamond Ore blocks look really good.
I really like this pack, but I don't want white wood, I'd like it dark :/

Unfortunately .gif lowers the quality and makes some textures look bad.
Yet it gives you an idea of what they look like, and it's not as bad as JPEG rape babe
this is the best hd texture pack ever due to the fact it simply fits with minecraft

I didn't like Xenocontendi (or whatever it was spelled), except for the lava. That is awesome! :D I'm really looking forward to a release! :3:
That Water is pretty awesome.
Smoothcraft and (GERU) Dokus rpg pack are the best imo. The only good high res texture pack is bordercraft.
I don't use texture packs.
Any form of Doku's texture packs are the best. full stop.

Excellent work! I would use it, seems comparable to something like Xenocontendi. A few ideas:
- Regular crate/bundle of TNT, please
- Less outlined shit for the workbench
- A gradient for the grass/dirt tile - darker towards the grass and then fading towards the standard dirt tone
- More cloth-y fabric
Good job, keep it up.
How has there been no mention of Eld's Art Pack in this thread?!
Yay for posting in the wrong thread.
Joli Pack is amazing, although the armor looks fucking retarded.
Texture pack I made... Its my first texture pack and I only just started it today, its not too great, very simple.
