Huh, well it all depends on Genre and Sub-Genre, like for me it's: Strategy: World In Conflict Empire Strategy: Rome: Total War Indi: Audiosurf Shooter: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Shooter/Adventure: Half-Life 2 Realistic Shooter: Arma II RPG: Baldurs Gate II Science-Fiction RPG: Mass Effect RPG Shooter: Borderlands Free-Roaming: Infamous Puzzle-based: Portal MMO: Got no money, you tell me. Of course I realise I will get a lot of boxes, but these are my favourite games off all time, and it's an opinion, therefore correct only to the person making the decision, and as said before, is subjective in all matters.

I'd find it hard to pick my all time favourite, so here's a shortlist. Most of these are really old, as I used to play a lot more when I was younger: Abes oddysee Command and Conquer (all of them up to generals, which was a massive pile of poo) Half-Life (and expansions) Half-Life 2 Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3 (Havent got around to playing the rest) Fallout 1, 2 Fallout 3 LEMMINGS 3D!!!! System Shock And loads more i can't remember.

Metal Gear Solid 3. That game had me hooked.

Final Fantasy VII for me. Or Vagrant Stories.

Fallout 3 is obviously the best, altough the legend of zelda: Twilight princess is a sure 2th place
