Lots of people in this thread haven't played Sonic Adventure 1/DX/2. Proof that a 3D Sonic game can be amazing when done right.

To me, Sonic died when they put him in a Nintendo game. But who knows, this 2D game might not suck. Although, I said that with the last one and look what happened there.

I still have a SEGA Megadrive and the 'SONIC COMPILATION' game which has 1player, 2player with tails and 'Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine', which by the way I like so much more than Sonic.

I have had more fun with Sonic 3 and Knuckles then I ever did with the Sonic Adventure games. However, Sonic Adventure was a good set of games.

I want to punch people who say sonic needs more "speed." Sure, the Genesis games had lots of running and stuff, but they were still platformers, and it took a lot more than pressing right, and jumping occasionally(unlike the godawful Sonic Advanced games)

I'd be okay with Chaotix characters in it somehow. But none of this Silver the hedgehog, or shadow the hedgehog.
Also, Amy is an okay addition by me as well. Even though I hate her.
But yeah, Chaotix characters would be cool, or even like, make them secret characters, because, you know, Mighty the armadillo was the original concept for sonic anyways.

I think it's fine to complain about games that are not good. But if you want them to make more characters with more craptastic voices in more inane plots, then fine, I don't care. I'll be over here playing Prototype, waiting for Sega to just drop Sonic and start killing another one of their franchises. NiGHTS, anyone? How about Jet Set Radio? Maybe Crazy Taxi, who knows?
