I've never seen or used this engine before, but its not source.
I'd like to see minimal guns- you have to rely on axes, bats, wooden stakes, hand crafted spears, ect. to survive, due to the large amount of zombies compared to a realistic-ly sized ammo supply. That way you feel like you're just barely scraping by, and it actually feels like survival.
Plus a hunger/thirst meeter would be awesome.

Also having makeshift barricades, or being able to build your own 'fort' to keep out the dead. Having you go around and find certain materials to build shelters would be awesome.
It's nice to see everyone's Ideas, design document will be released as soon as I gather enough information.

One thing I've always wanted to see is the zombies starting off as the infected at the start of the game, slowly having a higher ratio of the classic shamblers with lessening number of runners among them. this is something that would work better in some story driven game rather than in a hectic multiplayer though.
Huge maps, is Source capable?
Give players an actual incentive to work together - one of the biggest pitfalls with other zombie survival games is that in the end there's no point to working with others and it eventually devolves in a big PvP deathmatch.
Being there when it starts. Every zombie game is always "2 weeks later" or something like that.

I am making a base on both CryENGINE 3 and Source engine.
I am trying some threading techniques on the Source engine, so it will be more web-game interactive.

Creative playable characters, Like a housewife from the '50's or '60's with a hand mixer.
Decapitation based on the hitboxes hit.
I wouldn't even mind if taking their heads off didn't stop them.

Random AI system like L4D/L4D2, hunger/thirst system, clutter-less HUD, multiplayer
And classes:
Stealthsman: Has a special ability to see zombie positions regardless of visibility for a few seconds and takes a minute to cool down, like a battery
Heavy weaponsman: Has heavy weapons effective at short range, half-effective at medium range, and ineffective at long distance
Arsonist: Has 5 molotovs to throw, each one thrown starts a cooldown of 30 seconds, flame lasts 15 seconds, engulfs any infected into fire, fire deals more damage over time
Medic: Carries special supplies to wound those fellow survivors from infected bits
Just what I'm thinking.
Plus:
* Being bit by infected will transform you into an infected in a few minutes after being bitten, can be stopped by medics by injecting an anti-dose
* Different zombie looks
And we could use a storyline

For some reason I think that's a cool concept. [sp]Not the fucking a zombie part, eeugh.[/sp]
It would be interesting to see no HUD, but you have some sort of gadget or book to see your status and stuff.
Actual multiple ways to play. Too many zombie games where the only way to win is by killing tons of zombies. Why not add a way to avoid them? For example, you're being chased by a horde on a rooftop. In order to escape them you jump onto another roof. Then you can laugh at their AI's from the other roof. Seriously though, I want to be rewarded for purely surviving opposed to just killing zombies.
