Did minecraft get updated? And if so, how do you update a multiplay server? Like the server host Multiplay.
Servers down? Im just getting Error and "Can't connect to Minecraft.net"

You don't because it didn't. Also you have to go on the website for the server updates.

I was able to log in just fine using the new launcher. Surprisingly the old one couldn't.

I don't know. They haven't said anything about new stuff yet (except for wolves, wich are mistaked with dogs for some reason)

Is it possible to install mods onto a server like you would for the Singleplayer? And if so, is it done the same way? I have a craftbukkit.jar, can they go in there? I want to add that Books mod to my server.

Just run Minecraft.exe and it will redownload itself.

Not if the version file remains, the way it works is it checks for inconsistency with the newest one.

[b]Cavern[/b] is a cavernous (duh) map that has a variety of combats, between long-range, mid-range, and close combat. The large map and high balconies give plenty a chance for sniping with bows and arrows, and the area near the lava lake gives a lot of area for shooting people into the lava at mid-range. The twisting ledges in the upper terrace give chances for surprise attacks at close range. Watch out for the holes in the floor in the upper ledges, or you will either be struck against the rocks below, or fall into oozing lava!
