I just don't want to add mods to my game, I'm trying to play legit. So this would be awesome for notch to add a floodgate.

I think it's from this biome generator. Was trying to create a giant flat desert. I end up getting mordor. If I give you the map you'll simply generate normal terrain. The seed was random.
