The mod didn't work for me at first but it just randomly started working the next time I got on.
Like how long until it worked?
I have a question on making a server.
I'm making a server so my friend and I can play on. I got everything set up using mcadmin. The problem is I can connect using the address it gave me which is some 192.168 address but when I gave my friend that address, he couldn't connect. I also gave him my public IP to see if that would work but it didn't. Even I couldn't connect using my public address. I forwarded my ports and everything. Is there anything wrong?
Me and Esteam are working on a server thing
Basically, you start at the lobby where you can buy Food, Armor, and weapons. You start out with a Wooden sword. You walk the path to the Battleground, where you can either fight on the bridge, in the forest, or in the desert. Note, these are not real forests are deserts. Just tiny areas.
Every person you kill gives you 1 gold. If you die, you stay in the lobby till the next round. When the round is over, you take your gold. You go to the lobby, and buy shit.
Sound like a good idea guys?
Amazing idea. I will personally hug you if you do it right.
We started mapping an hour ago. I did some of the lobby, the path to the battleground. and the battleground itself. We still have some work to do before it's even ready to test.
Regardless, you deserve a hug just for thinking of this idea.

I thought it resembled more of a sandworm from Dune more than anything
Airship mod + Gunpowder = Jizz So much fun!
Why are so many black screens happening to me urgh
I put together all my favorite mods in a single .rar http://www.mediafire.com/?o72oapx977au41q It contains Airship, Steamboat, Modloader and Grassfix and TooManyItems. Just drag all the files into your minecraft.jar's root.

I'm such an idiot. And a late one :frown:

can someone tell me if there is a good Australian minecraft server?
I need some help. I can't run Minecraft as good as I used to. Ever since 1.3 I've been getting unbearable lag and stutter all the time. Before that, it was flawless with the help of Optimine. It would be nice if Optimine actually helped in 1.3 and up, but it doesn't do shit.
My specs:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
GPU: OC Geforce GTX 260
CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.93 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
Please help, I wanna play Minecraft again!
Lagging FPS wise or ping wise?
Usually if it's stuttering horribly just reinstall java.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's that time again.
Post a picture for me to recreate, and I'll have it done in the morning.
For those of you who weren't watching Dai's stream last night, THIS is the result of two days of work (Mostly Dai. A lot of my work is underground. :v: )

Not really on purpose, but I just noticed I'm having lots of red items :v:

We have relatively the same setup and I also get a lot of stutter. This game relies heavily on CPU and Memory, and HDD for loading.
The CPU we have isn't that great either.
Only thing I can think of is to reinstall java or clean out your computer ( the files not the dust )
I haven't tried them yet but I'm going to try the re installation of java later.
THANK YOU MAP

these could be 2 places where I can build, but there are more mountains up ahead.
If you're going to be a retard about it, whatever. We all know the truth.
Actually, I've seen pictures oh his brother and spoken to him and inacio at the same time verbally. There are 2 different people involved here
Okay, what the hell. I reinstalled my Minecraft and tried it without Optimine, and it ran BETTER!
:psyduck:
holy shit.

I love this map.
Watch out under the cliff there, mobs can spawn. I'd suggest lighting it up. Also, cut some of the trees down and make that waterfall go into a smooth pond.
Okay, I need your help. In wich of these areas should I build this?

First, for sure. Second is too far away and third is too blocky.
I think the third one, it looks the most like the reference image.
I think the third one, it looks the most like the reference image.
That's mostly because he's viewing it from the side IMO. The first one might look better.
Also, you have to plant way more trees regardless of which you choose.
