Hey, I have always seen wood pillars, really thin. How the hell do I make those? Sticks aren't placeable, and I can't craft them, sooo... wat do?

Remove one block, put another fence down. So, you just keep going down, and you end up with a thin pillar, perfect for supporting balconies!

Thinking of the water, I think oceans and such over time actually drying up and reforming and stuff. I mean have a storage deep enough that you can only access when the ocean is dried up would be hella cool. Like have a 14 day rotation or something of the environment through various stages would be cool.

If your unlucky and have an extended drought, then no ocean, no ponds, no lakes, etc.

I dunno I wouldn't want to have to play for 1000 days to have the oceans change. It'd have to be the right amount of time so you notice but it's not too fast.
