Minecraft Chat Thread V60: It's like FortressCraft for PCs! - Games

I know two people personally who have cracked versions of Minecraft. And there is a thread with a whole school playing a pirated version of Minecraft. Are you telling me you support Piracy? You seem to be acting like it. You are trying to justify distributing a copy of the game with a crack to ANYONE regardless if they bought it. This is piracy. Piracy is illegal. And is something the mods on these forums don't tolerate. Stop trying to justify something that you are clearly wrong about.

Wow Flak. Alpha is still illegal to pirate because it's basically Beta but with a different name.

Just like if you own a legitimate copy of Windows 7 and lost the disk you can get an uncracked one and use your CDkey.

I don't see why anyone would want to pirate this game. It's cheap, and it has the greatest support I've seen in a long time. The developers are connected with the players. And the game itself is fun for everyone. Why pirate it? The people I know personally I have been trying to convince them to buy it, and I think I have convinced one to. Why? Because they deserve it. It's not very often to see a developer or team deserve the money they earn from the games they make. Games now a days suck and have a hard time making it enjoyable for anyone for longer than a few minutes. But I always find myself playing Minecraft, looking for a new server to start fresh on or a new mod/plugin to play with. There is always something to do in this game. It deserves its money.
