Just upgraded to 512, was getting some memory issues with the large number of plugins that do stuff.
Also, which would be more popular, a creative-esque server(like it is right now), or a more survival server, where you actually have to gather resources?

Do something like Mineville, that server was great.
It was also fun to find large underground abandoned houses.
I'm installing the mod that lets you choose what material comes from what blocks depending on what tools used to mine it.
So if you dig redstone with a golden pick you get lightstone.

If linux had as much support for things as windows, I would uninstall windows in a heartbeat.

Can someone show me an example of a nice building constructed using birch logs (at least partially)
I'm trying to make a cabin but so far the white logs look like shit no matter what I try. I've been thinking birch frame, plank walls, and perhaps a pine log roof

That's the problem with open-source hardware. A lot of large companies use linux due to being able to afford professional coders. However, the average user isn't proficient in Linux-based programming so when things go wrong, you're screwed.
Therefore Windows gets all the support.

If that mod was made to only effect liquids and of course at a much smaller amount it would be awesome.
