Who the hell is the target demographic here? PC gamers? Last I checked PC gamers HATED Xbox/Windows Live and what Microsoft are doing. Casual gamers? I don't really think they give enough of a shit to join any GFWL services, and most don't really have the setups for PC gaming.
It looks like they're looking for the casual, PC gamer who wants microtransactions and Miis.
Very small target audience they've got there.
I'm fine with Steam and it's "social networking" stuff.
and who the fuck actually compliments on your decision to buy Avatar outfits? I know a lot of people who dislikes the idea of buying virtual cosmetic items. Most of which are people I actually know in RL.
Linda's Mii

What is the point in all this, it's fine the way it is.
Fucking Farmville, I thought that shit died and burned.
Ugh no no and NO.
If that's the future of pc gaming then :suicide:
FarmVille is the max of the gaming experience we will be able to get in the future:v:
I luv the spelling of the users.
I don't get how this is the "future of PC gaming" it looks like it's just going to let you use Xbox LIVE stuff with Windows and Facebook games.
Anyone else feeling nauseous from the forcedly cheerful shit? Looks like one of those schools for mongoloids, with happy colours, flowers and faces smiling all over the place (or those "motivator groups" that go around dancing and singing to raise awareness about some stupid shit, and everyone hates them).
Microsoft's plans to PC gaming

(note this isn't specifically aimed against Microsoft, it's just one of the many corporations)
Hahahha, Microsoft think they can overtake steam.
Whatever happened to Solitaire?
I think they're deliberately trying to kill the PC with this.
I wish companies would quit throwing the word 'social' around. Just because you add microtransactions and some sort of friend system doesn't make anything 'social'. The game industry needs to stop catering to casual scrubs.

That and now the word "social" if coupled with anything videogame related raises my bloodpressure by quite a bit. Thanks MS.
I am almost crying.
If they're forcing this upon us by requiring us to install it when we buy a retail game, we should just buy from Steam to get around it and piss off MS.
Contradictions ahoy
i blame consoles
clearly
I am crying
I am crying tears.
so fucking stupid.
I think the idea of Farmville, bad spelling and virtual items for the future pc gaming would make me quit.
Also one of the comments
I think this is a very intresting idea. Not everyone is hardcore gamer that plays Modern Warfare some people like to dress up and this will make gameing more popular therefore helping the industry!
I dont get all the* hate tbh :/
WGX: Steam for casuals and your mum.
If that ever happens to PC Gaming, I swear to god I will take up arms against Microsoft.
1:19, the comment in the bottom.

I am level 28 on Farmville.....
What a waste of life that was.
The avatar shooter looks cool though.
MICROSOFT, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK GAMING IS.
/caps
They need to stop trying to attract people who have better things to do with their time than play video games, it's not going to get them anywhere.
Steam is still better.
What a despicable little creature.
