And then the weapons - that actually do something - are cheaper. The Loch N Load, the most useless weapon, goes for 10 dollars. It seems they're cranking up the prices on the shit that's more useless.
And don't tell me STEAM gamers are any smarter than any other group because right here, on these forums, I saw a guy talking about how he bought the Spy's Fez or whatever for a good 7-8 dollars, when there was the Spy's pack on sale for 6 dollars, which included all of the new weapons along with his stupid hat. So fuck you.
If you can seriously justify Steam's store to me you would blow my mind.

I play tf2 quite a bit and I haven't seen any problems arise as to the ability to buy hats.
I never use the system I just play the damn game.

The difference between Valve selling cosmetic items and microsoft is that for TF2 you can still get the cosmetic items ithout buying them.

and am i the only one that kinda likes the avatar thing? i know i said above that buying things for it is dumb unless you have extra points you dont have anything else to use with, but its cool being able to unlock stuff from games and use it on your avatar to show people quickly that you have earned that acheivment.
