My brother plays this all the time, and with my horrible Netzero DSL service I always know what causes latency spikes in games with actual physics engines. I can't stop him, as my parents always take his side in arguments. I just wish it wasn't such a bandwidth hog.
What pisses me off is the portions on the avatars. They're so crappily made. All of the faces have a :downs: expression the arms are so fucking thick. It's like a badly done lego guy copy.
ROBLOX wasn't that bad back then. Alot of the good people have left, and most the coding is done by professionals. I learned LUA by playing this game, but never really used it. 2007 was the gold-age of ROBLOX, then '08 came and '09.. and it's still shit.
Oh well. R.I.P Roblox.

Back in 2007 the game was sex. Good players, no lag, great maps, great lua coded scripts, great mods and admins...
Then 2008 and 2009 came with the GIGANTIC wave of around 4 million(I am DEAD SERIOUS) 6-12 year olds that took over Roblox. Load of shit started happening. Administrators were leaving, mods were becoming bigger assholes, games were lagging, noobs were spamming shit posts in the forums, creating bad maps, terrible and useless scripts. About every user that joined the game before 2008(aprox. less than a million) decided to leave Roblox in search of better games to play. Alot of implementations were added inside the game, but it was already ruined by the worst community of all time. Roblox has entered the place it will never go out of. I have left Robox about 9 months ago because of a thing one 2006er said to me: "Was it worthy spending three years trying to save yourself from the idiotic community that was seen coming at the very beginning?"
In short: It went to shit. Don't ever, EVER play it. Let it die. Forever.
