I protected some guy from a zombie and then his friend comes out of nowhere and hits me with a bat; I knew he was his friend because I sat there a bit and saw that they both came to loot my body(a flashlight and 1 bandage...) then they started talking in chat....

Anyone else getting the "Client must be updated" message when trying to join? I get the message but my game doesn't update.

Well, to be fair, the point of the Alpha is to make the game do exactly [B]NOT[/B] that. If its still rampant when we reach Beta, then I'll be a bit worried, but still, what little I can play is pretty legit. Except for every motherfucker in the world hitting you once in the back and instant killing you, making your characters useless for a whole hour. I have 3 dudes on time out because of other players just being scumbags of the world. I hope the bandit system applies to every character on that account, so that you can't just kill a shitload of friendly dudes with one guy, then pretend to be innocent by switching to another.

Send the crash reports so the devs can fix it. It's an alpha. It's supposed to be used a sort of stress test to weed out bugs they cant find in house.

No I was at the construction site.
That was so surprisingly awesome!
There was like 8 survivors working together watching each others at a small town. I was right in the action and all they did was just watch me carefully even when I got 5-10 feet from them and they even helped me when zombies were chasing me!
I then did squads to death(like what i posted before)...
I help out survivors when I can, but I think they only ally with me because I'm the one with the shotgun.
Does anyone with a crossfire configuration have a low fps, or at least microstutter?

I don't think the guns spawn in specific spawns necessarily like they would in DayZ, but instead they have higher chances at spawning in some places rather than others.
I mean I was crossing the street and I saw an apc surrounded by sandbags so I searched around it and found some painkillers, and a few minutes later after i was crossing the street again i just saw a p90 laying there.
And i found my crossbow just sitting on the shelf of a grocery store

I think I was there. Same situation happened around me. I was playing as Daemon Test 2.
Then some fuckers with masks and baseball bats killed me. I had nothing, so fuck them.

That was already fixed.
So I spawned in a town after dumping everything but food and drink into my global inventory, and I immediately found a crossbow and a hammer. I begin sneaking through the town and I come across these windows on the side of a building and see this random survivor staring out the main door and all the zombies in the street.
I sit there watching him for about a minute wondering if I should kill him, and then the fool darts straight into the street and gets mauled to death instantly. As I begin making my way out of the town, i see these two guys with a huge zombie train getting chased into a building i know is a dead end and I can only assume they died. I'm almost out of the town and this fucker with a spiked baseball bat jumps around the corner and kills me in one hit. I didn't really have anything too valuable, but jesus that town was fucked up.

And I just realized my game was running on low all this time.
It looks much, much better at high. Pretty much half of my issues with the game are gone now.
I'm so annoyed. I bought the Pioneer pack, downloaded the launcher and created my game account. After entering my serial and e-mail it let me create an account. So I entered my information, created it, and was sent back to the log-in. But every time I try and log-in with the information I supplied, it says either my username or password is invalid, and when I try to create a new account with my serial it says it's already in use. :I
aka I can't play. Already sent an e-mail to the support address, but no answer so far. They stated in an automatic return e-mail that they are currently swarmed.
So I decided to take a look at the alpha bugs section on the forums.
It hurts at how dumb most of the posts are.
"uh zombies run too fast, this is a bug for me so im posting it here"
"hitting zombies in the chest doesnt kill them uuugh"
I think the only legitimate bugs at the moment is some zombies are invisible and the crashes.
(im sure theres a fuckload more)
