When the connections work and the game is stable for at least half an hour, I actually enjoy myself while I'm playing. It's lodes of fun and I can't wait until they expand the map. If I could pay $20 and get bumped up to legendary instead of pioneer I would.

dayz isn't an extremely buggy alpha at all or anything...right? dayz is going to be priced for an even buggier and more pricey beta, and claiming they're using their own engine. it's just a reskin of Arma 2's engine, just like WarZ is with WarInc

What I am trying (apparently) to say is that there's a lot of people complaining and looking completely retarded. As hilarious as I think that is, it's still retarded.
Lots of people say things like "alpha is not even an excuse for this game" as if they believe it.
They complain as if they did not get the game that they were promised. But they are actually promised a fully playable game when it's released.
They were asked if they would pay to get to try the alpha of it right now, and they mostly said YESYES!YES!!
The alpha was told to be really buggy, and probably crash all the time.
Still people complain as if the final game is horrible shit not worth any money at all.

It IS in alpha. The hell. They can postpone the release if they feel they wont have the time.

Complaining about a unfinished product when you were told that it is a unfinished product atm is a bit unneeded.
Now they're getting the testers they need to iron out the servers and fix client crashes. They even get feedback on how to tweak weapons if you so wish. MUCH will change during these times. Always does.
I swear this game is more of a police brutality simulator at the moment Run up and beat people with your flashlight and watch as confetti falls out in the form of granola!
Also why does a flashlight not kill a zombie? It is possible to beat someones brain in with one, not to mention a shambling zombie that's already rotting.

Alright so when I bought the game and I tried it for about 5 minutes, I was like "this is shit" and I actually posted on this forum that I was willing to trade the Legendary pack for a copy of XCOM. I sat down and tried to enjoy it and guess what, I did. I enjoyed it a lot but I eventually exited the client because it was crashing all the time.
With the money they got, I'm sure they're going to invest heavily into the development of the game to make it look and feel even better and once that happens, I will be extremely happy with the game. Will I prefer Day-Z standalone? Probably. I'm not a fan of the "hour respawn time" and the item shop that people can use but that doesn't ruin the game for me.
