Except you spawn in the middle of no where, and you seem to forget that they have a sprint key too, none of which changes the fact that it's poor gameplay.
i've managed against 2-3 zombies at a time with a hammer and also with a bat
the trick is to spam nonstop so they can't attack you, strafe in a circle, and also aim a little bit above the head because of the hitboxes being fucked
if you get anymore zombies than that you better have a gun or run like hell
honestly i think the flashlight shouldn't be weapon

Launcher isn't pathing completely, so they've must be doing something. I'll try again in about 5 min.
Found a AA-12 and 2 binoculars in the town I live at, been there for 2 in-game days. Have killed over 6 people that came. The town is far out so there isn't to many people to worry around. Found body armor, 2 big backpacks, baracade's and a shit load of food. This place is perfect. I love how loud the shotguns are when they go off people get scared. You can take out like 5 zombies with 1 shot.

You spawn with a map.
Likely the people hunting you are going to burn up their sprint trying to catch up to you and catch you by surprise, meaning if you sprint with a full meter you'll always be ahead of them.
If you don't want to take advantage of the marketplace, fine. That's the way you can play, that's on you.

I love playing the game in this mindset. (staying at one town). Also, the notes are pretty cool. Are all of them player written? Some of them are really creative.

I found one in the tunnel, one in a construction site, one in the mail thingy and all of them had the same stupid shit... The note on the construction site said something like "Notecia2"..
