Its less clunkier than DayZ currently, and much easier to get into (My opinion). You may run into shit now and then, but if you get the game (Pioneer/Legend for alpha access too or just wait for beta, etc) I don't think you'll regret it.

I find that Europeans tend to be more friendlier than Americans in this game, every game I enter in EU I get like 2 people I can team up with
Man, I'm seriously thinking about buying the 30 dollars package. I don't care how shit the game is, you don't get to play a fresh new multiplayer game very often.

Not hard to believe, Dayz was pretty much PVP free while the servers were just in NZ but within about a week of american ones being hosted it turned into what it is now.
Im hoping that once the safe zones are implemented itle deter people from just killing absolutely everyone as (at least from what ive heard) if your a bandit you wont be allowed inside to trade etc.

The game has been out for 2 days and its already fucking stupid to the point im dying within 5 minutes of spawning because someone comes up behind me with a bat and kills me.

Don't stick around spawn points. Once the map is enlarged, I doubt spawnkilling will be an issue anymore as well. But until then, just stick with a friend (if you're able)

Laughing my off, disconnect in the middle of a building to put stuff in bank, spawn behind a bandit with mossberg, backpack, and tons of ammo, fuck him up before he realizes I spawned behind him.

So for those of you who are playing, how long does the day/night cycle take? More specifically, about how long does night last?
I know time is sped up for the game, but I'm not sure exactly how much.
Just had the best loot run ever.
I was investigating the abandoned Military Checkpoint at the collapsed tunnel south of the Main City. As I was sneaking in to avoid a mini hoard of zombies I checked an abandoned truck to discover a Medikit and a M4 Assault rifle!
Very happy and eager I pressed forward to the heart of the checkpoint to discover something amazing.
About 10 flashlights all lined up on some desks, but in the middle of the camp there was a MP7 Submachine gun and a M14 Assault Rifle, all with full mags, as well as a Large Backpack and some food and medical supplies.
On the verge of dying of excitement I grabbed everything that was not nailed down and moved out of the checkpoint quickly.
I think I am confident enough now to carry a gun on me.
First ever experiences
Hid behind random buildings like a little bitch for 10 minutes
Got jumped by a lone female zombie
Lightly patted her with a flashlight
Died with nothing more than the starting gear
Fuck
