Tried to just sprint out of the spawn and find SOME loot
Ran to nearest buildings and saw a zombie
Ran in opposite direction
Got killed by random shithead with a bat
So far Respawn: The Game is going pretty good
A weapon would be nice at some point though

The developers are now expecting refunds before game release. Tho, I think a lot of players just jumped in thinking its a finish product. Tho I will agree the Dev's did kinda lead us onto believe that, but I think everyone just needs to give the game more time.

Well, the Alpha ends in 1 month, they need to hurry the fuck up in that case.
I think 30 minutes is 2 hours in game.

I have no idea. It's not realtime. I've not been playing longer than 1 hour at a time. Game is quite unstable.
I'm fairly sure it's been dark the whole time once, and just starting to brighten up. I've actually never been in from beginning to end of a night.
It could be up to 4 hours too. Someone might have to confirm it for us.

Nope, no need to hurry. Then comes the Beta. That's were most people get in.
Final release can get delayed too. Things get delayed all the time.

People did this with BF3, jumped on pre-ordering because they thought the beta was a polished bug free game when instead it's a testing platform for bug reports. They don't understand that and it makes me want to ram a steamroller over them for being so stupid. Alpha and Beta's are always buggy, crashy, exploitable piles of shit when compared to the finished product.

Battlefield 3 wasn't a proper beta but more a marketing demo.

True, the beta was a 5 month old build that they let the public rip a new asshole.
But it was still a beta in sense that it was a pre-release version of the game.

They have not released the game. There was a vote on the official forums if people wanted to pay and play the alpha of it, and most said yes.
It was the communitys decision, DEVs gave them what they wanted. It's great actually.
