just got out of a massive fight where i had to kill 6 people who came for my loot, managed to get tons of medical supplies and a mauser.
Seriously, the northern part of the map is a fucking killzone. If you want to stay alive and don't loose your shit, don't go there.

i finally find a 9mm mag then a guy runs into me and blasts me with a shotgun.
Game crashed right when I was in the city looting with other people around while I was watching my back to make sure they weren't going to attack me but then when I log in I see that I am dead...
This game is fun, but its community is worse than fucking DayZ.
I have been killed more in three days of the Alpha than in several months of playing every version of DayZ.
In the last half hour, I've been killed three fucking times.
Walking around, having a slight hint of fun--[b][I]NO STOP[/B][/I] random fucking asshole with a rifle shoots me once and kills me.
Respawn, pissed off but not deterred, flashlight to the face almost instantly.
Respawn for the [B][I]third fucking time.[/I][/B] I'm alive for literally THREE FUCKING SECONDS before I'm already getting shot at by this cock sucker that was watching the spawn point with an AK-47 and his equally shitheaded buddy that ran over and beat me to death with a hammer.
I will buy 10 goddamned copies of the elite edition if they add in a single player mode, or a fucking PVE setting, jesus tap dancing christ.
I'm actually having no fun at the spawn areas, almost every server I join there is some noob waiting down the hill for new players, there is flashlight noobs, snipers or "just for fun" bandits. Even after server hopping to get away from these things, there is always someone who tries to kill you.
My game crashed like mentioned above and flashlight noobs probably took that to advantage to take my gear while I couldn't do anything...
Its so funny pretending you are unarmed, and running from some melee bandit faggot, just to see if he really bothers to try and kill an unarmed man, before you turn around and shoot him with your holstered pistol. I havent killed a single player i have not been threatened by, or that I have seen kill other players yet, and those kills are the best.
I was doing that yesterday to get flashlight bandits out of one town from killing new people, it worked very well.
I just met 2 guys in a town; they were equipped with shotguns. One took a shot at me without hitting, and I just told him "no need to shoot me I have nothing".
Then I saw a guy roll up behind them with a hammer and typed "LOOK OUT" into the chat and that guy got lit up lol...
...anyways I took the hammer and told them I'd watch their back. Soon enough, I'm lying behind some sandbags and see a guy aiming at them with a M4 semi. I rush him with my hammer and take his life in two swings. The two guys thank me and we split up.
How about anti-spawn camping? run around and shoot the spawn campers

They didn't know. You could have been packing. Switching to a rifle. Don't assume the worst. They obviously were working together as a group. You just weren't in it :)

Unfortunately, at the moment, the map size is constricting. You can only move north south really. As you travel, it is inevitable to encounter another player, whether you are actively trying to or not.
I hope they open up the "tunnel" so you can travel through it.
What I would really like to see in future maps is real vertical gameplay. ie, building that are completely open all the way up (or even just a few levels and a stairwell to the top floor), as well as cave/sewer/underground networks.
Is there a update coming?

I'd really like all of the buildings or a good majority of them to be enterable, compared to now where most of them are just decorative blocks or completely empty and near pointless. It'd definitely increase time actually looking for stuff, rather than the like 3-4 buildings per town before moving on immediately.
I'm going to take a break from The War Z now.
I keep trying to get to a really good loot area, I tried 4 times. All were failures because of game crashes, bandits, or my Mom nagging me about some random thing.
I try for the 5th and last time, and I finally make it. Weapons and supplies everywhere, sweet!
As I grab my last item to set out, some bandit smacks me from behind with a hammer, instantly killing me. He begins to T-Bag me and takes all of my items.
*Sigh*
I thought the instant kill crap was fixed, dang it. PvP is too big on this game, I'm gonna wait until they update it with VOIP or something, because this is getting out of hand. I keep trying to be careful, but in the end, bandits always win.

If you stay away from cities and loot areas, yeah.

I've been spawn killed three times now. Not just "Oh a guy killed me near my spawn point!" No, I mean literally, the second I was able to move around, I was taking fire.
It needs to be easier to see/hear when someone is coming up behind you. if they do it with a flashlight it's easy enough, but hammers and baseball bats are huge killers.

it's not hard to survive in the cities or loot areas either
just keep an eye out and have a hammer or something
What do you guys think the price will be after the 20th? I thought I was ready because I asked for one of those spare keys for the full game that people got thanks to the billing bug and someone said they'd give me a key but apparently it's a guest key as I found out when trying to register it, so I'll only be able to play for 2 days :v:

I just went to the same place again. I found a friendly, and the two of us talked a bit. As I got ready to distract the zombies with a chemlight some random dude jumped down an obstacle and beat me with a metal bat. He instantly killed the other guy, too.
Worst thing is, I had no weapons. I can NEVER find any. All of my weapons have been bought, lol.
I wish there was VOIP and no overpowered weapons.
Fights last for 2 seconds right now. Melee weapons take 2-3 hits, and guns take 1-2. Plus, you've probably already taken damage from cliffs and stuff, so it's pretty much an instant kill.
I'm gonna team up with someone via Teamspeak3, lol.
Guns are fine for the time being, it's melee weapons that need to be reworked...
Anybody know how to reset your key config? the "Reset" button in the menu doesn't do.. well, anything.
