I've memorized the northern lakeside town by heart since the game [I]always[/I] spawns me there. Then I find the terrible Mossberg which needs a damage buff. Shotguns in general are in dire need of damage buffs.
So im making my way to the north safe zone when I see someone else in the forest area. I then hear a shot and the guy die. The sniper comes out and loots the guy but he's to far for me to shoot with my cross bow but I do see him through my binoculars. I sneak around the the east entrance and then I see the sniper in the safezone. He asks me to come with him to look for some food in the near by town. I agree then shoot him the in back of the head the second we leave the zone. Free rifle for me.

That is pretty good, how are camps and stuff handled? can you loot/raid camps? Vehicles would be quite useful if its actually about 150km2.

From what I've read, it really has nothing and Sergey Titov was just bluffing on the forums, Sergeys post got deleted though.

6) Once again we've adjusted spawn rates on weapons/ammo loot. We'll be doing it on daily basis, adjusted based on data we're receiving from game backend.
I personally HATE being killed by fucking sniper bandits. I'm okay with being killed by dude who's close to me - it's my fucking problem that I trusted him. Yet - I will still be trusting people.

I was playing in a group of 5 today, snipers pose as a big threat when one of your friends suddenly drops dead. Anyone with decent aim can take out anyone from a distance no matter how hard they try to strafe.
Where are you guys finding guns? I have played for at least 4 hours and the only time I found a gun was when 1 douchebag shot another, I snuck in and took his pistol. I was then jumped by 3 dudes with assault rifles.
Just got hatchet'd.
I'm up to join anybody when my guys are ready to be revived though.

Are the guns hitscan?
Also, a shotgun is guaranteed to spawn in the barn near the penis lake. I've found at least 3 through server hopping. I hope they fix that.

Bullets have travel time and drop.
So, a huge group of people (10 or so) were in proximity in Ktown. They decided to "Group up". I was watching from a relatively far distance and they were talking about everyone getting into skype/vent/whatever. Once most of them were in the group, a dude with a flashlight started heading out with the group. They hit the open road and from the hill you hear

5 people out of the 10 drop as they start running like kenyans.
Was the funniest thing I've seen in the game in a LONG time.
Anyone got a mumble I can join and hang with you folks while I play? The ones I've seen so far I've hopped into and they're empty as the magazine in any gun in this game.

It's weird how Sergey has done no good before this game, but this game is actually starting good other than the people in it.

The people really just come with the genre unfortunately. Any game like this has them, but there's not a whole lot you can do other than be careful or travel in trusted groups.

Aside from remote killing, everything he said was impossible is in the hack apparently.
