Where are you guys finding guns? The only one I found was in a city and it only had 8 shots.
They adjusted loot spawn again. So you got to be extra lucky now.
I think the hackers are gone, for now.. My friend reported a lot of people crying in global chat about hacks THEY PAID FOR (LOL) not working.

I want to play WarZ real bad, but I'm listening to music. It's not exactly a game you can chill, play, and listen music to.
Pistols are really powerfull. Yesterday me and my friend were scavenging in the big town, when we were ambushed by a large bandit group, with two snipers on roofs and three guys on the ground, with M16s and other big weapons. Me and my friend had pistols only, but we managed to kill all three of the ground guys, because of the ridicilusly low recoil and high firerate. One of their snipers managed to kill us though, but atleast we managed to make a bump in their road

It's not that powerful, it's about a two shot to the head kill if they're armored, 3-4 if they're wearing a kevlar helmet. It's about 6 shots to the body unarmored, dunno how many against an armored target. The people you were fighting just sucked shit through a crazy straw, especially if one of them had an M16. Did you catch them off guard or something? Personally, I only use a pistol over a melee weapon because the pistol lets me keep distance between me and the person I'm shooting at. Otherwise I'd just melee if I needed to use a secondary. I've even been shot about five times in the back with a pistol, had enough health to take cover and heal myself before returning fire.
They need to make the zombies be able to swing their arms while they move or have them be able to slow a player down like zombies in L4D.
Since it's becoming common to see a player create parades of zombies in towns now, for me. The zombie threat is becoming minimal if you can causally coast by them without worry.
I wanted to feel scared shitless if I entered a town alone, even fully armed. But, honestly, I feel no threat from zombies anymore.
Anyone wanting to buy a beta key off me? I'll sell it for $15 - I won't be able to play this game since I'll have limited internet.

Do all the M4 style weapons share different kinds of ammo, it is implied that this is the case. Which seems weird considering that the STANAG Magazine ammo is designed to be shared between all the M4 style weapons.

Whadya mean disagree, you can't disagree with a fact, the bat takes down a zombie in maximum 5 hits if you aim for the head, I've done that plenty of times. Unless you're talking about a different bat?

I like bandits who's killing me 80% of the time - they're adding athmosphere to the game - it's not just about zombies anymore, but also about fucking hostile humans. And this is okay I guess.
Mindless kills and spawn camping are another story. Those slimes are just doing it for sake of ruining game for everyone, including themselves.
BTW if you have noticed, spawn camping rate went down a little since last patch. And in coming week we're moving to new spawn system, that will make it even harder to spawn camp.
We also preparing to open large portion of the map, which by itself will solve big chunk of PKing problem.
I hate to say "it's Alpha", but really it is . Ie - you won't even have access to full map, and more important without data we're getting right now, we won't be able to fine tune and balance game.
So bottom line - Alpha times are rough times, we just need get over it.

I ended up having a Dev add me on skype, we met in the most northern town inside the church. He ran in with a M4 pointing it at me and I was literally unarmed. He just told me to drop my food or he'd kill me. I dropped my food, he took it, then he said to follow him. I followed him all the way to the edge of the most northern safe zone and he said wait for a second. He disappeared then came back couple of minutes later and gave me some food then asked if I wanted to roll with him.
I had nothing else to do and he seemed pretty cool so I accepted the offer, he tossed me a shotgun, mossberg I believe, and we simply went and explored some areas like the helicopter crash, a village near a small lake, and a few country homes out in the middle of nowhere. He asked for my skype, he had troubles adding me because I said the wrong skype ID but considering my name was my forum name he PMed me on the War Z forums telling me it was wrong.
Ended up being RussianKaliber, one of the developers that interact with the community the most. Funny thing is, I knew him way back in the day when he was working with War Inc, because we used to play Battlefield 2 together. Today was such a good day.
80% of EVERY servers population are full of dicks. I've had numerous instances where I've tried to be helpful and being helpful has fucked me in the end.
For example, me and my mate saw a guy in the small town lurking around. We ask him if he's friendly, he says yes. Then he asks if we have some spare food, I give the guy a tuna can and he says thanks. Two minutes later when me and my buddy seperate he just hammers my mate from back and then when I rush at him he shot me with my mates gun.
Another time we met this dude and he asks if he could join us. I was like "mkay" and let him stick around to us. After looting a bit and killing a few zombies I hear gunshots in the vicinity and I give the guy a gat just incase. Thirty seconds later he just headshots me and then empties his clip into my mate.
Not to mention the random fucks who lurk around and then just charge me when I'm preoccupied with something. Oh, let's not forget the "gunzerkers" who just shoot me on sight. And the snipers.. oh, the snipers.
tl;dr you can't be nice in this game. After about 10 deaths because of stupid cunts, I've resorted to killing everyone who I see. I really hope some kind of new designs are going to be implemented which minimize such behavior. :suicide:
