I use my MP5 to kill a bandit.
I aquire 2 shotguns and shitloads of gear. I mean shitloads.
I solo it for a while before heading into a small town.
A bunch of new guys - no gear, only 2 have flashlights are there.
They see me and cower, I assure them I'm no bandit and we go about our business searching the town.
Two bandits stroll into town and start attacking the unarmed people.
I procede to get into a gunfight with both, killing them. I protected the new guys.
The unarmed guys still think I'm a bandit and carefully approach. I give all the dead bandit's gear (guns, ammo, etc...) to the new guys. I then walk into the sunset to protect and spread hope to more and more groups of unarmed, frustrated masses.
I am the hero WarZ deserves.
Just bought the game and the installation finished. Anyone want to team up and play for an hour or so? If you have a mumble/xfire/skype, it would be nice too.

I'll look for his posts. Also, I'm on a gaming laptop (670m GPU and 8gb of ram) and I can only play on low with 15 FPS. I'm assuming it's because it isn't using my dedicated graphics card and the built in intel. How could I fix that? The same thing happened with Dishonored and I had to play that beautiful game in all low on a bad resolution. :(

I dunno, I'm getting that on my laptop as well currently (7970m, 8gb) thanks to enduro being completely fucking retarded. Game is playable though at the 18fps it runs at. It's smooth and that's all that counts.

Oh, I just fixed it. You'll have to go to your graphic card driver and its settings and whitelist it. I don't know how it works with the ATI GPU but with Nvidia, you have to go to "Manage 3D settings", "Program settings", then add both the WarZ application and the launcher with the High-Performance NVIDIA processor.
Anyone wanna team up right now? I'm running out of flashlights...

Done that, it still uses the intel chipset. Swear its the launcher which fucks it up.

So, I had a fun time today. I spawned in, ran to the nearest town (the one right next to the smaller lake). First place I checked had an M4 semi and binoculars, so I thought I was off to a good start.
I wasn't, I got hit once by a zombie, but the game registered it as two (or the zombie was strong as hell) so my blood was at my ankles. I then tried to run into a diner, but somehow got glitched an flew to the roof. I watched and waited for a while until I saw a flashlight. Before I knew it, a group of four people had run into the town and made friends with each other. I found a safe way to jump down from the roof, found one of the randoms and gave him the M4. Before I reached him, I saw that one of the others had a messload of zombies trailing him, but since did not want to startle them, I ran past. I dropped the M4, and without saying a word ran off.
I heard the guy shoot every bullet in the mag a couple of seconds later, and saw one of the others type "thanks". I then promptly died from another hit from a zombie.

Thinking about getting this. How does it compare to Day Z (not trying to start a shitstorm, bear with me). I enjoyed that game a lot because of how tense combat was. Raiding the airfields with a few buddies involved crawling from hanger to hanger with 2 on overwatch for the course of an hour. The social aspect and tension of that game is what made it for me. How is this in those regards? I am hoping for a better gunplay and less hacking experience, without all the bugs of Day Z but with the social aspects that I enjoy.
So, I was in K town grocery store, hiding from snipers.
All the sudden a player comes in with a pistol looking for me. I pop out and he begins to fire and I fire a single shot of the mauser straight into him. He dies and calls me a hacker. I take his medium backpacks and pistol and hide.
A moment later, I notice a player on the roof of the grocery store. This character was sniping on the roof and took out a player near the APC. I waited and saw them jump into an area and proceeded to fill them with lead from my pistol. I then learn how to get up on the roof and take 3 mausers, a medium backpack, an m16, and other bits. I then check the loot on the street for a mossberg.
I run into the nearby post office and notice a backpack lying on the ground in the back. Obviously this was a trap, so I take out my pistol and rush and jump the corner to a waiting player and kill them quickly.
3 players, and a dead player's loot. All within a few feet of each other.

In it's current state i would say it's like dayz without the vehicles but with better gunplay/melee, Zombies are also better.
When the game gets updated more there will be player made missions/bases and eventually they are going to add vehicles like cars and apcs...No helicopters unfortunately.
There are safezones which you can go in and store items and soon there will be shops with limited stock of items, So i prefer this over DayZ so far.

This safe zone area, what do you mean by store items? Also, are they safety enforced or can you go in with a gang and raid them?
Shot a guy with a shotgun i found 5 times, and hit him with a hammer twice and he didnt die.

When you enter a safezone you have the option to log out and place your items in a global bank, They can only be accessed if you are in a safezone or start a new character/revive, You canno't shoot or attack in the safezone but people outside with sniper rifles can pick you off....Luckily the safezone has high walls so it is uncommon(also they might be adding npc guards to shoot at bandits attempting to enter town).
There is rumors that there is going to be a bandit safezone without the no-attacking rule, Kind of like darkfall online chaos cities, You can do everything inside but no-one is there to protect you from others.
Alright I got him back, he dropped 2 shotguns, saiga ammo, 2 pistols, a m14 with 24 shots, and some pain killers and a mouser.

just finished a massive raid/gunfight where we killed 12 people, we got out of it after 2 hours with 5 assault rifles, 9 shotguns, 1 submachine gun, 3 large backpacks, 4 body armors, 2 sniper rifles and a fiveseven.
It was a massive bandit group camping the apartment fire escape. They had a bunch of loot they had gathered in there that was mostly mossberg shotguns.
I feel like this was a successful big city raid.

Got into a server and found 3 shotguns in about 10 minutes. Lurked a bit around until I saw a guy with a assault rifle. I didn't want to take any risks so I sneaked up on the fella and blasted him away. Four guns in a time span of 15 minutes - sweet. :v:

yea it seems like everyone and their cousins have 4+ guns now.
A survival game with extremely rare weapons would be more interesting, people would actually use melee to defend themselves.
