Fucking Ninjad
Because he's your typical DayZ fanboy faggot, basically.
Fucking christ, every post I see from you is awful dribble about how much you hate Day z, and how Day Z raped your mother and murdered your father in front of your eyes, and now you feel obliged to be the hero War Z deserves or something
Fuck I don't get people's realism fetish it's a VIDEOGAME about ZOMBIES
Fuck I don't get people's realism fetish it's a VIDEOGAME about ZOMBIES
it has to be realistic or wont feel like im living in a zombie apocalypse!1!!1 But really, I just want a Day/Dawn of the Dead(originals) type of zombie game. But on a city wide scale map with multiplayer. So, for the most part, I think I'll enjoy this.
but if it wur rel zombie apoc i would kill everyone!!
why exactly are you judging the game based off of War Inc
They're reusing content from War Inc? That's what you guys mean by reusing content? What the fuckkkk [editline]1st August 2012[/editline] This game went from game-version of DayZ to 2cm square maps of zombie+player deathmatch.
See, this is exactly what I was talking about, this whole thing being fishy. This is just one more thing, the model being re-used. Rate me dumb all you want. I mean, I guess I can give it a pass because they are all just alpha/pre-alpha screens or whatever, but it still seems a little lazy.

And this game and its "conspiracies" are definitely coming from the latter. We have absolutely no reason to trust this dev, and it's not weird to be put off even moreso by the recent content we've gotten to see.
Fuck I don't get people's realism fetish it's a VIDEOGAME about ZOMBIES
I want a super realistic mode with no zombies
Am I the only one that thinks the name is incredibly dumb "The War Z" What the hell is that even supposed to mean Still, this looks promising
Am I the only one that thinks the name is incredibly dumb "The War Z" What the hell is that even supposed to mean Still, this looks promising
The war against zombies? Seems pretty obvious to me.
I want a super realistic mode with no zombies
[t]http://puu.sh/O3VY[/t] Sounds right up your alley.
[t]http://puu.sh/O1qT[/t] Sounds right up your alley.
Sounds "excelente".
[t]http://puu.sh/O1qT[/t] Sounds right up your alley.
I don't know looks complicated
Something about this game rubs me the wrong way, but I can't put my finger on it. They say they've been developing it longer than DayZ but I honestly find that hard to believe and they're also saying closed beta starts like... soon. I dunno, I wouldn't get too hyped it might be disappointing. Then again I pre-ordered Brink so what the fuck do I know?
Hard to believe it's been in development before DayZ? So they just made the whole game in a couple of months?
I'm thinking it's just a quick cashout. We'll see in a few months though.
I'm thinking it's just a quick cashout. We'll see in a few months though.
DayZ was a mod that caught on relatively recently, what we've seen of this game implies it's been in development for a long, long time. Beta timescales mean little. Halo 3 was in development since 2005 and only entered beta in the summer of 2007. I'm skeptical of the quality, too, but we've got some reasoning to believe it can be a good game.
I'm thinking it's just a quick cashout. We'll see in a few months though.
You still can't make a game in a couple of months.

What they have done so far seems like it wouldn't take too long considering they're directly building off of War Inc. My guess is they had this War Inc. game and then realised how popular DayZ was getting while they were also toying around with a zombie game idea. So they decided to throw this thing together to ride the zombie train. Not implying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but I think most of the things everyone is super impressed with so far is just the engine from War Inc. Anyways, I don't mean to thread-shit. I hope the game is good and I'll be keeping my eyes open for a beta invite. I'm still pretty hopeful.

Why would they just lie about what they have done? If they plan to release it this year in a few months, it's obviously been in development for a while.
Not implying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but I think most of the things everyone is super impressed with so far is just the engine from War Inc.
The engine is hardly that impressive. Just the promised features of the game are appealing to people.

I can understand not wanting to develop something that might not be interesting towards the market, but if your market includes the average video game shut in, than a Zombie Survival game is always welcome. Though, most Zombie games seem to always lack one of the main thing that mostly everyone agrees should be in a Zombie game. Like, tons of zombies and tons of items to use, but restricted to small/linear map. Large Map and barricading, but not in the point of view people want, or no multiplayer. Like, they get a lot of things people want, but cut out the rest of the things people would have loved to be included.
This Brazillian youtuber is begging on the forums to get a beta key. What's hilarious is that he keeps making new accounts to post with so that it seems like he has a lot of supporters.
This Brazillian
No need to go further.
Are there any facepunchers that would like to put a group together on the official forums/steam? (Sorry if I may be late on this)
