I agree, I don't see why we can't cancel the disconnect.
I can see why there's a 10 second delay for disconnecting but having no way to stop it is retarded.

Okay, I find a buddy that was also his first time playing and were looting a market and I accidently attracted like 5 zombies and we were cornered in the market so we were forced to fight back. I pulled my M4 too late and my friend was quickly mawed. I dispatched the zombies and I stood there going "NOO YOU WERE MY FIRST FRIENDLY!". He then goes, "its okay, I never really had any good loot. I just had that neat hat I found with you." Then he was gone. I look up and theres a bandit in a gas mask who then puts a shell in my face. Fuck you bandits.
Pro tip to all the new players;
Don't go out in the opening.
Avoid other peoople at all costs.
Stay away from safe zones.
Avoid gun shots.
Don't bring things out of Global Inventory unless required.
Join a group of people you can trust, better with a voice chat.
Be patient as fuck.
Super Pro Tip;
[B]Don't get attached to items you find. Use them when you can.[/B]

Also, the 3game who got my guest keys, PM me for my email, before 4PM PST, or I will hand them back out to new people.
You got about 4 hours before they are going back out.
So anyone got a spare guest key? I can trade it for a 2.5€ game on Steam.
I'm interested in trying the game out but i can't afford buying it this month.

Usually if I end up with a heavy/full load I go to the nearest safe zone so I can dump everything into my global inventory.
Is it just me or is it impossible to pick up items on high shelves? I've had to miss out some decent equipment in old stores just because I was unable to interact with it all.
Also, floating hard hats, I've seen so many.

i have a character in the city with a large backpack completely filled with guns (all with ammo except the akm) and i still don't go to the safezone
the way i see it, it takes 5-20 minutes to get a gun so there's no point in hording them in the global inventory
All of my supplies consist of food, water, and bandages. I've never found more than 2 guns. :v
Just shot some guy in the back and got a few pistols and armor. Sweeeeeet.

i was on the roof of the grocery store in lake town when i saw four people with guns and skulls masks sneaking around a bunch of zombies. when they got near i jumped off the roof and got a huge zombie train on me and sprinted past them, getting the zombies to attack them instead
i ran through them and around the corner, and then there was a bunch of gunshots and eventually silence
i came back and waited for the zombies to disperse before i went to check out the loot
i saw 4 skull masks so i don think any lived, but the guns will be useful

I so badly wish to test play this, I got free time from my job for this week now and time to play this. Is there someone with a spare key? :smile:
I skull dragged half way through a dead city even though I was warned not to go into the damn city. All that progress lost because my legs were stick through the tent and thus the zombie hit me from the otherside. Attempting to flee from them in the dead of night, I was sniped.
So I guess I just had a lucky first time today then because no one I found was hostile, found a m4 semi and hammer, led a group of 4 who all eventually died and am holding up on my own. However shits bad now since food seems to no longer exist and I'm being forced to kill people in the hope they have any.
Anyone want to play?

So, I started playing today and it is pretty good, aside from the number of bandits, I didn't run into any gamebreaking glitches yet.
On my first character I created I got some food and medical supplies, just general stuff, then died from a bandit.
On the second I got lucky and found two M16s and a pistol in the crashed helicopter, but after about 5 minutes later I was sniped.
Now I'm on my third character and I'm doing pretty good. I have a Five-Seven, got a large backpack and a gasmask.

Go to the download page, download the client, and when it asks you to register for an account, there'll be a space for the serial key.
