Very tempted to PK. I went to the new dead city and it was filled with fucking hats. Not even joking! No food or water or medical supplies, just fucking HATS. I could see them spawn blocks away! There's a downed blackhawk in the center of the city and I go there to find MORE FUCKING HATS. I ended up with like 5 of those military looking helmets and then someone kills me. Because of that city I was thinking TF2 and ended up trying to bargain with the dude who killed me by offering refined metal.

He took out a shotgun and popped 5 rounds into me.

You wont be able to "run" your own server, just stupidly rent them.
They need to just release the fucking server client so people like me can run it on my linux box but nope, wont happen.

From the sounds of their FAQ its making out you can only rent, should I try to get hold of sergey to clear things up?
Because if they are only going with the rent idea I might be able to push an idea onto them for where they allow us to host a server on our own box but we pay a small fee for an api key which grants us access to the master server.

I don't like going to the airfield because people already found ways under the map and they just camp down there and kill people. Happened to me and my friend and we were stacked on gear from playing the entire day. Disappointing.
Well sergey has pms disabled so I sent it to kewk instead as he's the community manager, if I get a response I'll post it.

OH god, I was down south, and had a mossberg and a pistol holstered, in that way that the gun doesnt show up on your back. I met a friendly guy, and said I had no weapon, so we went looking for one. On the way, the friendly dude said we should wait for his friend, when we saw two heavily armed people going our way. I ran behind a sandbag, and said "Guys no the road, we want no trouble, please dont shoot", and they said "We want food...", and shot my friend first, as he had the "Only" weapon here. I quickly pulled my pistol, double tapped one of them, and shot the rest at the last guy. He however, survived, but I had amazing luck, and one of the pellets from the shotgun hit him in the head, and he died. One of them cried hacks, and my friend said "Good thing you had those weapons holstered, You have avenged me :)". The amazing part, is when I looted the guys, and one of them had an M16 with 30 rounds, and a FULL FUCKING STANAG C MAG. Large backpacks, and loads of ammo later, an unarmed guy comes. He says he was Zacks friend, so I drop my shotguns to him (One of them had one), and some ammo, and lets him have all the stuff I didnt pick up. He says thanks, doesnt shoot me while I checked my inventory, and we parted ways.
It really is a great idea to have your weapons holstered at all times. Bandits will think you are unarmed, but you get the drop on them, and friendly players wont be so suspicious.
In all, i scored, from just a shotgun and a pistol: Three medkits, two large backpacks, M16 with 130 rounds, three Jerichos, 16 antibiotics, and more, not really mindblowing stuff.
