Thank you, I was incredibly disappointed when I played DayZ, and then I was fucking mad that some piece of shit took over ArmA II, arguably the greatest Military Simulator ever created.

Yeah, I think it was worth the 25 bucks. Get it expecting to play a alpha/beta game, don't expect a Full game with no hackers. There will be a wipe on november 30th when it goes into beta. So expect that also.

Yeah, I don't expect to be getting a full game if it's only been in development for a year.
Is the WarZ any good? I've heard people get really damn butthurt about it being another zombie shooter to rival DayZ, and people flaunting "THEY COPIED IT!!!11".
So is it worth the money? Is it fun? Would you recommend it?

I find it hilarious when people hear about this game's arcadiness and they go in thinking they'll have an easy time.
my friend and I were wandering through a town recently. I had a mossberg with 2 shots and a pair of binocs while my friend had a hammer and another binoc pair.
We were scouting out this town, noticing that there were a bunch of players engauging in regular shenanigans. As in standing on cars hitting zombies with hammers, running away from zombies, or sneaking around in general. So we declare we are friendly and collect an additional 3 people. One got surrounded and we left him behind, and another just wandered off.
The third guy claimed to have nothing, but we were really suspicious of him. He kept asking my friend to drop his hammer. Also note at this point, we were very low on food, we were all the way at the bottom of the meter for like a whole day or two and taking hp losses due to this. We were talking about whether we should kill this guy because we needed food very badly.
Eventually we decided to just use him as bait and let nature do it's work. My friend had other ideas though, and as I ran next to this guy he kills him in one hit with a hammer to the back of the head.
Startled the hell out of me, as I thought we were getting shot at, and followed by laughter from my friend. The guy had nothing, and we made our way to the ranger station. I found an m16 in the office, and gave my friend an empty shotgun which he held another guy at gunpoint with while we told him to tell his friend to get out of cover (I saw a bald head laying prone next to a tree).
While we were doing that some hacking hammer cocksucker comes out of nowhere and kills all three of is.
We made new characters and so far I have another m16 with 5 rounds left in it and a fully loaded shotgun, while my friend has just a shotgun and a hammer.
Game is so much more fun when you know you have someone watching your back.
Great, my game crashed and I can't load the launcher. Ended up deleting the game but tried redownloading the client, it does nothing so I assume I'm using the wrong one? I need the one that downloads the game :(
When I use that war z download, I load it and it says "Application Crashed" :/
Ahahaha, went to the airfield and shot some random between the eyes. He had an m4 with 100 rounds an m93 and guerrilla body armor. Now I just need to get to a safe zone to stow away my 6+ guns.

Just spent 2 hours playing with a total stranger. We went from nothing to medium backpacks and shotguns with ammo.
This game is what DayZ tried and failed to be
fuck i finally ran into some asshole that killed me on sight. so lame.
I don't know where everyone's finding stuff but i can barely find a gun. the most i've found is a shotgun a a helmet. no ammo or anything.
I want a damn sniper rifle so I can plant loot and just camp that shit all day.

Dayz didnt try anything yet? It's a one man percistency test, it's not even a game or a mod right now. To be exact it's an [B]mission[/B] for arma 2 and nothing else, think about it. Wait for december when the real alpha comes out:v:

God fuck damn it. went through devils pass trying to make it to the safe zone after finally find some loot, some how got completely surround by invisible walls right out side campos, and apparently hold space sends you flying 200 feet up in the air and drops you, guess who fucking died?

Try it out first. I've played Dayz for roughly 200 hours and trying out WarZ is just weird for me. I like the dark adrenaline rush you get from Dayz, something WarZ just lacks. The zombie behaviors are just weird to me. But this is just my opinion

I agree. Everything about WarZ just makes getting shot at much much less nerve wracking. There are some core things about the game that need changed, like the way guns handle to make that sort of atmosphere. That was the thing that made DayZ so good.
Getting shot at actually gave you that fear and made you paranoid, scared, and a little jumpy. It's just not the same in WarZ.

That's why arma 2 is an simulation, they pull that off rightly.
Have you ever played arma 2 with jsrs (1.8gb sound mod) and ace? Every shot and everything in a firefight will make you shit bricks, it can't get more realistic and better soundwise than with that combination on the video game market.
Also JSRS sounds actually better and more realistic (even if it dont aims for it) than battlefield 3.
